Guess people get too invested in a concept and can't look at it objectively. I actually like the place a lot when operated the way it was in February. They need to get back to that ASAP
Yep, that happened Steve, I couldn't believe it! Surely though this is all the direction of the management, which seem to chop and change things in either direction throughout the years...
We find it kinda of funny how everyone complains about the Entertainment staff, yes the repeaters were spoiled with Amy, Sarah, Nathan, Jules, and the big guys around there like Chinos from years gone by. Just our opinion but if someone has to count on the resort staff to make or break there holiday then maybe they should go to Disney. People make their your own fun and entertainment.
Only thing I can see is the( a few of them ) Time share owners don't want their resort given bad reports.( when I was 16 I experienced blind love,, but seriously were all adults here) ,, so I have to ask myself why are these people blind. Just cause one take the time to point out a bad experience does not mean that person doesn't like TTR , on the contrary, they probably want it fixed to maintain the fun atmosphere. To call people whiners and to tell them to go to other resorts is just rude . They are just trying to maintain the TTR they /We love
You seem to wanna keep harping on this subject. And like to remind everyone how you much you are the clarion bell on this. But you are fast approaching Chicken Little status. And you make unbased statements. None of the regulars or 'invested' guests are going there for the entertainment! would we like to see fun great entertainment and associated ents staff? Of Course! But it doesn't make or break, our vacation dollar choice. If the entertainment was eliminated, (which granted, is a radical analogy) it still wouldn't stop many from booking their next trip. and newbies ( whos' boredom concerns you) wouldn't even know the difference. TTR is not like any other resort. It is not the entertainment that sets Mecca apart. if you find yourself bored then perhaps those "better options resorts" is where you should go.
So happy to see Gabriel mentioned Dan and I spent at least an hour every night sitting at the sports bar and talking with him during our week stay. He is so intelligent, funny and kind. He definitely made an amazing trip that much better. We miss him already!
Happy that you feel that way. Entertainment doesn't matter, AC doesn't matter, nothing matters. Hell just drain out the pool and people will still come! Temptation resort is perfect no matter what! I mean no one cares about these little things.
Temptation resort remains "perfect" no matter what. Even if we removed: 1) AC from all the rooms: who cares, toughen up man! 2) Entertainment staff: who needs them, we can make our own fun! 3) Functioning facilities: forget that! No one cares about mold or anything Hell, just drain the pool and remove the games as well! We can just hang out and drink beer all day with the "regulars" and make our own fun. Anyone who disagrees is a total "whiner" who makes "unbased comments". Very logical!
I might be a whiner but don't you think you need all those things to make it a resort without all these facilities they should just not charge us and let us hang around for free...:cool014:
