Gabriel has by far been the best friend to me at TTR. He is so sweet, always remembers me and we always have fantastic conversations. I am so happy he has completed his schooling and so proud of him too. lol I always make sure I seek him out and spend some time with him. Even my husband will go out of his way to make sure that we see him.
Yeah I think I didn't clarify what I meant to say that well. Perhaps for building permits (inspectors, local officials) they are trying to whitewash the image of Temptation a bit to make it seem a bit less risque of an atmosphere until the paperwork is approved. Appeal to the more conservative types that may or may not have access to official stamps and whatnot.
Agreed. Roxie was a fish out of water at that resort. I thought she was going to have a panic attack last July when she played Wild Tequila Volleyball and hit the ball out of the pool. Jules saved her by retrieving the ball.
lack of energy and enthusiasm We were at TTR for two weeks over Thanksgiving. There was a noticeable lack of energy and enthusiasm from the entertainment staff. JJ tried but the rest of the entertainment staff (especially the ladies) were fairly invisible around the sexy pool except during specific games. They did not demonstrate any real interest in generating contact with guest perhaps because of language issues. We did "hear" that due to all the management and people involved with potential expansion/renovation a decision had been made to "tone" everything down. We did note that toward the end of our stay several times the entertainment staff actually stopped game participants from becoming nude. Interesting because it had been "allowed" and encouraged in our first week. The games in Nice Shoes were better. One has to wonder if more is being allowed in Nice Shoes than at the sexy pool because contractors, inspectors and "officials" are not walking around. Regardless, "Houston we might have a problem"! TTR is still a great place and we enjoy each trip. We create our own fun and debauchery. We simply noticed a lower level of energy and enthusiasm and staff interaction surrounding the sexy pool games. Therefore, participation was effected.
I was crucified by some of the cancuncare people for saying the exact same thing lol. I guess there are several stages to truth: 1) Denial 2) Adamant and angry opposition 3) Acceptance where everyone pretends they agreed since the beginning and the idea is self evident. I guess we have finally arrived at Stage 3. Took a lot of fighting to get here lol
That is terrible. I don't understand how they think they will be able to complete with the many other resorts if they tone it down too much. Newbies will grow bored of the place and leave. Without the entertainment being raunchy, they will never experience the place being good. Why would they come back if it has boring entertainment when there are other better options? The only reason I want to go back was due to the entertainment being good in February and the "Boobs Cruise" atmosphere. If the only "entertainment" I experienced was the sexy pool like in May, I wouldn't want to go back.
