It is an acquired taste....after about the tenth trip, it becomes part of the familiarity of Mecca. You know you are home when choke down a mouthful of 'Chateau Temptation' and grimace. The place of Hot Women, Cool thongs and Wretched Wine. On the bright side.... You never have to fret over the bar running out of wine either. (Almost 5yrs on CCC and have never seen anyone say 'Save us some red wine!') And when you are not at TTR you are dreaming of the next chance to be able to order a glass of that plonk
Eau de toe? They've been crushing grapes with bare feet for years in Europe.....maybe it's an acquired taste?
Ah....that's Eau de toilette. I'm heading off to the supermarket across the road....thanks for the tip.
It is no different than a Sunday morning and you are out of booze at home. Even the L'electric Shave bottle is empty, your way too drunk to drive and your bootlegger isn't answering his cell. You want/need another drink before bed, so what do you do? You recycle some drunken pee. And who among us hasn't done that???? Admit it. Well TTR wine is a step up from that.....at least I tell myself it is better than one of those Sunday mornings at home
I can more or less guarentee, you WILL find something you like at TTR drinks wise! They literally serve anything and everything, even off the menu cocktails they don't usually make, they'll mix up for you if you ask nicely! I drink wine alot with food, as stated above, the house wines arent great, but tolerable with food. At pool bars i'm usually on purple shits or drunken monkeys and at paty'o i'm a jim beam and coke kinda girl, or anything alcholic at that point to be fair!
First morning In our group we have a few wine drinkers. We pop downtown 1st morning and there is a great liqueur store (last europa) directly in front of wall mart.. 10000 s of bottles from all over the world from 5 USD per bottle..and nice wine glasses to buy as well.. The bar tenders in the resort are happy to keep behind the bar and serve you when required xx you can get the re bus right outside the resort or 10 usd in a cab.
The red wine is fine. It's vastly improved from a few years ago. Was undrinkable in 2011, now I have no problem with the quality.
