You could always use the first trip as a learning experience. After all many people become repeaters. Go for the talk (they will give you the history of the hotel yada yada yada) then party attention to how they structure the offers (say no afterwards).

Get your free stuff, enjoy your trip, then on your next trip, if you're interested, go into the negotiation knowing how it works.

Just remember you can end it anytime.

Does anyone know what the offer is? Just a discounted price for future trips plus you get premium alcohol or what? My wife and I are trying to plan our first trip for April and I would like to have some idea of what it consists of before we turn it down or say yes and waste 2 hours on it if we have no interest.

    Thanks,

    Chad

I sat through the painful, and i mean painful, 3 hours of breakfast with the sales person and then off to a tour and then up to the room to get pressured.
I received 2 tee shirts and a 50 dollar credit to the spa. wooo hoooo I would have been better off spending this time in the sexy pool. There was nothing sexy about the pitch. Especially breakfast with the sales person. Eating and selling [talking] don't mix well. Bits of food was being....well you get the nasty picture. ;)

it is worth it for some and not for others.

best advice, don't go on your first trip,,,, first find out if TTR is for you , and if you return go on a referral week and experience the benefits, then you can make a more educated decision .

talk to others before buying , packages vary greatly.

Can't agree more. It took our 4th trip before we bought in. It's not for everyone and deals vary from person to person.

But if you do decide to listen, it's just like any other timeshare pitch. Keep saying no until you can get to something you're comfortable with.

As far as how long it takes, we bought in after sitting there for only around an hour. Some people walk away after 30 minutes, some for half a day...it all varies...

Just wanted to say this is not authorised by me, and if they were courteous enough to ask I would reject it. They have never even spoke to me about it, although I have heard it happening.

They are simply giving you $75 - nothing to do with the Boobs Cruise.

Absolutely excuse yourself from it. Avoid it at all costs. Absolutely the worst part of my wife and I's trip there and a lingering mistake that has put a damper on an otherwise great vacation.

While the initial time there as a premier member is nice (upgraded room, quick bar access at the pool, etc)...it's simply not worth it in the long run. We were stuck in there for the pitch for 3 hours, foolishly actually got suckered in (amazing how decent things sound when you're badly wanting to get out to the pool/beach and are exceedingly hungry), and now have been saddled with a horrible timeshare contract that takes extra hoops to jump through to make it work (having to work through both RCI AND the resort to make anything happen) AND with horrible customer service in terms of getting any answers regarding things relating to the account.

Skip it. Do yourself a favor and avoid it any way possible

Has Anyone here had them chase you down the hall way until you got to around 70% of the way towards the room you were assigned? Did the also Demand that you give them your name, as Proof that you are supposed to be/ allowed to be in the resort? Even though you told them Many Many Many times no? Just wondering.
