They get burned out working at Patty'O. Gabriel, one of our first as well as one our favorite bartenders, worked at Patty'O the first few times we were there. Since then, he moved to waiting tables at the Italian Restaurant, and now he works at the quiet pool bar (at least he did in May) He told us Patty'O gets old after a while.
Gabriel is also one of our favs. He is a funny guy. He was happy with switch to sports bar. It gets him home an hour earliar and he isn't so tired after his shift. (He didn't like working at Italian tho) Gabriel has been studying architecture in University for the last 4 yrs and now has his degree. So now he is spending his days getting his career underway while still working at TTR. During Halloween he told me it has been a long tough commitment but he is very happy now and the sports bar is perfect for him. He still comes over and does the --Tequila bunny hop/You can leave you Hat on--- bartenders show at PatyOs on the nights they have it.
Ok, no one mentioned Manuel. He is part of the entertainment staff and was so much fun. He suckered me in to tequila volleyball (only once...read the fine print). W are suckers for sports but this brought volleyball to a whole new level. Lol! Anyway, hopefully Manuel is still there.
Tequila volleyball is a blast no matter who is there.....wild tequila volleyball even more so.....so lets play and enjoy no matter what staff is there
Is no the staff... is the new assistant I've been at TTR last week and talking with the guys of the staff, they want to do hardcore shit in the games but there is some new assistant who doesn't like see naked people around the pool (¿?), so is the management not the guys... that's sad
Somebody mentioned that toning down the games may be related to getting permits for the proposed expansion of the hotel. Which makes sense when you think about how religious Mexican society is.
why do you stop the biggest thing that make you successful, and encourages repeat bookings. There are a few more AO resorts without the wildness and real beaches , that will steal away the customers if they become similar resorts .
