We are making our first trip to TTR in 10 days. We have a deluxe ocean view room. Does it have a balcony or a terrace that has room to walk around and has chairs. Just to sit out, with a drink in hand, and people watch during down time. Are they a true ocean view? Or is it more a view of one of the pools? This trip can not come soon enough!
There is a small balcony with a table and chairs. The ocean view really depends on the room. Our 1st trip the view was mostly blocked by trees and there was a small sliver of ocean you could see. Wasn't real thrilled about it at first but quickly realized how little time I'd be spending in the room. Enjoy your 1st trip! Im jealous your countdown is already at 10 days. We have 77 to go
Yep, will depend on which room. If you're on the ground level, you will have a small terrace with a table, 2 chairs and it's not blocked in so you just walk onto the resort paths from there. If you're on the higher floors, you may have a balcony with a table and 2 chairs. TIP: Be VERY careful about closing your balcony doors when you're out on them. If shut hard, they will automatically lock you out which is a design flaw (the lock drops down into locked position). Not so bad on ground level - horrible if you're on a higher floor and have to scale down the side of the building (not to mention if you're naked!!!!). We've done it so many times we leave an extra key card on the balcony so one of us can go around and let the other one out....
when we have been to Tempatation we usually check the room is ok and if not go back to reception and they have always changed it for us without any prob x
We have been there many times and have learned that you aren't in your room a lot. I like the morning ocean views with coffee. That is lovely.
