thank goodness i checked out my luggage yesterday and didn't want until friday - had to order new luggage! TG for Amazon prime
no...they used to stop for a short time to drink and shop on the island, but i think everyone preferred to spend more time on the water or on the private beach for lunch...its really much better this way.
At the private beach you can buy some things there are 4 or 5 little huts set up on the far left edge of the property. Not a great selection.
Depending on what you're looking for, the shopping plaza on the Cancun strip is a short bus ride away (10-15 min) and costs a couple dollars. There's a few malls, Starbucks, and the tourist strip for the usual souvenir stuff. There's also a convenience store and tiny flea market directly across the street from the resort, a block or so south that is 5 minutes walking distance.
I was going to 'diet' for vacay so I could rock some ab I haven't seen in 4 years. That was what I was saying back in Sept. Then it turned into, "well, I have time. maybe I'll just clean the diet up a little and lose a few vanity lbs." which has now turned into, "shit we leave in a few weeks. Maybe I'll just cut my carb cals down temporarily" which has now turned into, "It's too late. I'm eating and drinking whatever I want." LOL. Sitting here with a hot cocoa with schanpps in it. PIzza er' day. Abs...maybe next year. lol
We didn't find time to shop at all during our 10 days. Wouldn't even waste time sleeping if we didn't have to. We picked up presents for our friends back home at the airport before the plane left!
