Ok typical question for an English guy to ask. I am not too concerned abt Spirits or Liqueurs dont mind a Brandy thou as a nightcap but what Beer is on tap at TTR ? I am a real ale Beer Drinker but from many trips to the States I know this is a no go. So are the larger's Bud and Miller ??? 1st trip June 16-30 2015
No it's dos Equis xxx on draught and they have it in cans in the fridge in your room along with water coke /diet coke
Not that bad . My fella is a Stella drinker and he can drink it . He dosnt drink it all day we have cocktails and shorts aswell
They also have Tecata light in bottles (they pour it in a plastic cup). You have to ask for it, but they have it. I can't do the Dos XX anymore.
If you actually like beer, the beer there sucks. It's all the light, run of the mill, bland variety. Nothing dark that you need a fork for at all. Fortunately it's plentiful.
Beer there is not really good. I normally drink Guinness (and even have it on tap at home), so drinking Mexican keg beer in a little plastic cup is not really my thing. Every now and then I grab a Tecata light(maybe closest to miller lite), or slam one of the canned beers in the fridge. They are ok enough to drinking quickly and move to something else. Typically I just end up drinking vodka and tonic, or strait tequila with a Sangrita shooter (it’s like a mini bloody Mary with no booze used as a chaser).
