Just a random question as new to Cancun / TTR etc etc. If you are a hotel resident at TTR are you allowed permission into the Desire's Hotels ??
No. Not unless you know someone at the Desire hotel and in that case you can visit for a fee. $250 if I recall correctly but we negotiated that down to $150. It was 6pm until 2am but they stayed until 5 and there was no extra charge. It is less for the day. Noon to 6pm, $150 I believe. The key is you have to be a guest of someone already staying there. No passes just to visit. I have heard of people a couple years back negotiating a visit into taking the timeshare presentation but I think that is more the exception than the rule.
