Yeah I took notes on the flight home that I am referencing but I don't have time these days to pee let alone write the trip report. Day 2 coming today but I know I am missing key events, meetings, hilarity etc so I am counting on the rest of you to fill in gaps. Also not helping the cause was I think from fri to Monday morning I was never sober. 26 hour days, 2 to 4 hours sleep here and there do that to you.
A full night sleep is extremely rare at TTR. We had our first one there this year after the rain out beer pong day. Melissa rarely drinks beer, but was rather good at it playing beer pong. So good that she was volunteering to help other ladies drink theirs. We went to the room around four and didn't make it out that night. We managed to get around 11 hours sleep that night.
Saturday oct 4th Sat 4th Jeff Andrea saved us pool chairs by the Octoberbreast fun holes. My thanks guys! We needed them after 26 hours straight then only 3 or so hours sleep. 9am was pool recovery time. Thurs/fri arrivals resulted in maybe 2/3 of the Octoberbreast gang on site Saturday, maybe 50 or so. We love that morning cocktail in the pool catching up on last night, reminiscing and started the day off right catching up with others on the previous nights debauchery. Joined in volleyball at 11am. Another great way to meet people while burning off some of the alcohol calories. The resort cancelled typical sat activities including mr Temptation and dj and replaced w an octoberfest version that was boring (I can't even remember how it was different) jj is ok but he is still a 1 man show. He has no one to feed off or work with. Sadly every time we have been the staff has been worse. I think jj can get to acceptable but he needs a partner and his ceiling isn't as high as chinos or even Nathan, Paloma, Sara, Amy, etc The biggest downer of the trip for us (and note that if this is the biggest downer then it was an amazing trip) was the switch from bringing in an outside dj sat afternoon to instead bringing in a band. For our past trips the sat aft pool party was our favorite as the dj would play real EDM type music and take an occasional request. Not the same ole mix mashed up songs the house dj plays over and over. The music always would help drive the sat afternoon pool party to be one of the best. Sadly with the band playing classic rock, Bon jovi, etc type stuff it just mellowed out the mood a little. I always find it interesting when someone simply says the music sucks. So in an attemp to not do that the music sucked sat for those who wanted real EDM non mix tape dance party type music. If u wanted to sit in your chair and hear classic rock and 80's cover stuff then u were probably happy. Another negative is they set up on top of the restroom resulting in the sound projecting outward towards the bar. If u r hanging in the fun holes or that end of the pool the sound was a little light and muffled. Made it easier to catch up w the breasters though and greet the new arrivals. Lots of AIWC, body shots and luge shots. Many wanted to go hard early and crash early w the Boobs Cruise the next day. I did have a number of issues with the infamous Brenda this day. She was a little intoxicated and may of taken some liberties with my private places that had me on edge that afternoon as she tried to fill in for hannah who couldn't make it this year. (Can someone post a pic of Brenda so the non-Octoberbreasters get that joke?). Thankfully a pleasant touch here and there from the octoberbreast ladies brought back the happy thoughts. I won't name names but every guys boyhood dream is to be in a hot tub (fun holes in this case) and have the lady next to you do a little Jacques Cousteau underwater exploring lol in mid conversation. I would bet that type of stuff happens more at TTR than any place in the world lol Dreams become reality at TTR Oh by the way, weather was just awesome again. Really seem to be the right time of year for us. Fri/sat were both completely sunny and upper 80's which apparently is above normal for this time of year but it was the same way last year. The pool water was the warmest we have ever felt it. Not very refreshing but we like everything on the warm side. The heat and the mass amount of people sure do result in an interesting film on that water. Every once in a while I will do a pearl comparison when appropriate and here seems like a good one. Pool Water at pearl had to be 5-10 degrees cooler. More refreshing that way. Not sure why there was such a difference. And pearl pool water was pristine. If the staff sees anything in the water they clean it up. This is clearly a volume issue. Too many people in the pool compared to people keeping it clean at TTR and just a different ratio of guests to mntn/cleaning/service staff at pearl. We usually alternate Italian and Asian. We don't do reservations. Depending on how busy it is I give the maitre d' a 10 or 20 and 90% of the time they find a table. We just hate deciding what time to eat in advance, where and w how many people. Don't have to do that at pearl by the way. But sat night we were short on time after some husband/wife time in the bedroom so we tried Mexican where no reservation is required and u walk up. It was nice. Nothing 5 star but totally fit the need for a quick meal to refuel. Some nice touches we hadn't experienced before like bringing us a mango margarita to try wout us asking. That was nice. Jen and I enjoy the group dinners but we try hard to have some just us dinners also. It is nice to game plan what we r enjoying, what we want to do more of and who we may want to spend more time with just because we find them fun or interesting or because jen wants to lick her boobies. Oops, sorry Steve. This is the most pg report I have written u have to admit, trying hard to stay family friendly. Saturday nights CCC theme was sheer night which just happens to be my favorite night of the year. Sadly Jen forgot to pack her sheer night outfit and I believe it was in fact accidental as she knows sheer night is my favorite holiday of the year. Thankfully, the over prepared guy that I am, brought a pretty great sheer outfit just in case Jen wanted to stretch her comfort zone on this trip. Tip: I highly recommend other guys/couples take the same approach. Ttr has a way of just making it easier to stretch your comfort zone. When everyone else is doing it and no one seems to care then why not try something new? So bring a couple of those outfits she says she will never wear and maybe the magic of ttr will change that (note: never ever push it. Just have it ready in case the opportunity presents itself). The sheer outfit was pretty damn awesome. Will add a pic later once I hide the naughty bits. But it was so awesome that at first the mrs declined and wore a semi sheer blouse and tiny black shorts instead. Will add a pic of that also later for comparison purposes ha. When we got to pattyo's we saw the other sheer outfits and received some very friendly encouragement from several from Octoberbreast (special thanks to Jeff as he was the clincher, can't remember the exact point he made in favor of changing but it worked) so we (ha 'we'. I wasn't wearing sheer but maybe next year as some of the new guy additions were great at dressing up) decided to change. The positive result was sheer night again exceeded expectations. Lots of dancing. Dj started off with club type music which we like. Always feels the need to add a Mexican salsa flair around 1am which partially clears the dance floor but hey we are in mexico. The negative is I had to compete to get dance time with my hot sheer dressed lady. Octoberbreasters, randoms and the bachlorette parties all wanted some dance time but who could blame them. The Octoberbreast ladies and bachlorette party made sure I wasn't lonely The other negative was we stayed out to about 2something on the night before the Boobs Cruise, never a good idea. But we were able to rally the next morning after about 4 hours of sleep. Note on the single girls vs guys. Way more girls than guys. First time we have ever been where there hasn't been way more guys than girls. 2 bachlorette parties. Who doesn't like hanging w bachlorette parties. Vegas regret. I once got invited to 'hang out with' 12 bachlorette ladies in their room and turned it down. It was pretty clear the intentions of some as we had just finished some euro poolside body shots at Bare at the mirage. And when I asked if my buddies could come along the answer was no. Anyway, clearly this wasnt spousal approved. Then when I told her about it she said what were u thinking? My mind = uh oh, didn't like me talking to them. Her follow up = u should of been all over that. Lesson learned. Needless to say I missed a once in a lifetime opportunity as I have never been invited to any bachlorette hotel room parties since As you can tell though life is pretty good and WOW did it get even better in the days to come Sunday is Boobs Cruise day. It took me a week to get thru above so sunday will be much shorter.
I was also hatin' on the Saturday band. Once I heard not only the Beatles, but also AD/DC, I knew it was nothing but downhill. Don't get me wrong, I like that music, but not when I'm drunk in the pool at 3pm when usually I'm expecting the EDM DJ like you apparently were. I'm so glad to hear the Pearl pool is cooler and more refreshing! And cleaner! Can't wait to try it in February! :mnm:

Since I couldn't find Brenda and didn't like the semi sheer pic I replaced with a pic showing how it didn't stink having a room on the 3rd floor and having to walk up those stairs every day stairs pic... and the replacement sheer outfit... explains why sheer night is my favorite night of the year
Yep I remember that sheer outfit well, Kyle, but I don't remember black splotches over the nipples. She must have spilled something there.. As for what I said that clinched the outfit change, I do not remember honestly. But I suspect it was a combination of fireball and charm. I brought both with me to Paty'Os, that night.
