Red theme, blue theme, a minor issue. The people who go have evolved; way less inhibitions. I think it's more about the changes in society in general. Less uptight, inhibited people. Or maybe it's that people do better research and there are less people stumbling into TTR who'd be happier at a more reserved resort. Whatever, it was always fun, but it seems to just get better. The resort itself is the same; staff has always been the friendliest anywhere. Resort's old but they bust their asses keeping it clean. Food is a little inconsistent; some visits better than others. Management can be unresponsive to guest concerns (such as Donald mentioned with security a few years ago). The Boobs Cruise has really evolved from a few years back. MUCH more fun. But as always, the group you're there with is huge. If you happen to walk in when the Octoberbreast crew, or I'm sure a lot of the other groups that go the same week every year, it's fabulous. Go 10 days later and, while still fun, might be a much more reserved experience.

I've looked at some older pics on the web of TTR and it seems that in the past the area around the Sexy pool had a lot more "resort" hosted parties, events, whatever (bigger banners in the background, tents setup, whatever)...

Were those only for certain times of the year or has that changed as well? The 3 times we've been there (2x in September and once in May) recently there hasn't been anything like that really at all.

Definitely different, and both better and worse.

Some of the most fun was going out of the resort at night. Sergio's Friday night booze cruise was always a blast, and going to one of the clubs was always a lot of fun. Saying that, I do appreciate being able to stay at the resort, and know the party is going to be great every night. Overall, I like the party at the resort better than having to go out every night.

Making a booze run at 1:00 pm was a pain, and I am glad that the bars are now open late. Much better in this area.

I am sure that I will get the "why are you kicking a dead horse" comments, but the entertainment was wildly better than today. I do miss those days.

As far as wild or mild, I don't think you can get much wilder than body shots on the bar every day.

Everyone knows that the people at TTR make the vacation. The guests are definitely getting younger compared to me getting older. I expect that the demographics are about the same, although there seem to be more professionals at the resort today than there were a few years ago. I am curious to see other's comments.

    Well said.
Sergio's evening booze cruise was fun. Forgot about those. Would be cool to do those again, say mid-week.
And we all know the entertainment was off the chart back then.
Wasn't so scripted. Didn't really know what was gonna happen next.
And you didn't want to miss it.

You can't bump a bump. Or is it you can't triple stamp a double stamp? Getting my Dumb and Dumber humor out.

I remember I was there in 2011 (I think) and Chino was still there and he is what we can call an entertainer (we are lucky to still have him around and enjoy his company atleast once a year)...and I have said it before too, as much as people make TTR. The entertainment crew also create a different kind of vibe. It is obvious entertainment was better before and I dont find much change in other stuff, except the security has gone tighter which is a bummer

We will take the old days because we were 15 years younger. With all the changes it is still a great place to vacation.
