we have been there probably about 6 times and have had many types of rooms.
our first time we went blind and ordered an oceanview room and got one looking out at the sexy pool ,2nd floor. At that time it was the active pool at nite.
the next couple times we tried ordering the same type room and never got much of an oceanview. last few times we stayed in the 500 bldg and it was quiet at nite but real close to the action daytime.
this october we stayed in 2206 right above the couches at patyo's and had a blast.
sure it's real loud till 2am but we are out that late most nites anyway. and if we were in our room before then we certainly weren't complaining..just sayin'.
lin liked it because she could easily check on theme participation and dress accordingly. i liked it because i could grab canned beers from my always stocked mini fridge. (tips go a long way).
we also agree that they give u the chance to change rooms if you're not happy.
We have never requested a jacuzzi room but have been offered the "upgrade" at $50 per nite.
we go back this april and again we just order the basic room.
somehow i think pitbull and lil john will be in the playlist again.....

We are hoping to negotiate for a jacuzzi room this time. How much more per day does a jacuzzi room cost? We heard about $50 per day.

50 to 150 per day, depending on how busy they are and who you get at the counter.

Friends we went with got a jacuzzi suite next to the quiet pool. They have the screen that you can put down for privacy however their screen seemed to be put on backwards....they would put the screen down to play on the patio but one night while waiting for them at the restaurant we could see them clearly through the screen getting busy on their patio! They were the talk of the resort! Haha

Of course,,, but adjusted accordingly to your taste , we also brought Aromatherapy additives made especially for hot tubs .
Scented candles are nice too , cause with all that humidity , they get rid of the humid smell.

I do leave extra tip for the cleaning lady cause it can make a mess
