Hoping I can get some more info on the rooms that are available at TTR. I see they have a deluxe, deluxe ocean view, jacuzzi room and jacuzzi suite.

Are all the jacuzzi rooms on the ground floor and do they all face the pools etc, or are there some that are a bit more private? Is the Jacuzzi room worth the extra? Do they have any pool type jacuzzi's on the property? What areas are a bit quieter in the late night? The more info I can get the better as it will help the good looking one feel more comfortable going to TTR.

Thanks in advance..btw..looking at sometime in June for our anniversary.

Jaccuzi rooms face the quiet pool or the back of restaurants,, the suites face the ocean.

They are worth it in the winter months

When you check in you can ask for a room in a certain area. Last week we asked for a room in the 1100's as they are midway between "quiet" side and "crazy" side - sort of mid resort. We checked in at noon and were told to wait about 45mins for our room. When we went back they did not have that room anymore - apparently forgot they had it on reserve. So we nicely asked for a "better" room and ended up in 1205. Turned out to be a great room with view of the quiet pool and partial oceanview on the balcony side and our door was to to the sports pool side. We loved having the balcony and having the sliding doors open almost 24/7. Middle of the resort at 1100s/1200s is just our preference. Not sure if they call 1205 a deluxe oceanview. They are a few rooms facing directly onto beach/ocean but I assume those are for premier club members.

Not so easy to get an upgrade, but if you don't like your room, ask for another. We have been to as many as 3 rooms before we had an acceptable one.

I "think" they are all on the ground floor, and all face the Quiet Pool... but some probably face the Sports Pool... just makes sense that they would. For "privacy, you can pull down a shade that blocks sight of anyone "out there watching," though why you'd want to be like that, I don't know. I personally think the Jacuzzi rooms are OK, and it depends on the "extra" you're getting charged. There are some Jacuzzi areas in the Sexy Pool, but they are the same water and flow as the pools and aren't actually heated on there own. In my opinion, the rooms in the 5000-block are pretty good, though a bit distant, so are sort of qquieter. Though, we usually get the Jacuzzi Room in the 1000-block, and except for the night when they have the disco party at the Sports Pool, noise isn't an issue, and even then, it's over at 11:00 p.m. or so.... except for the skinny-dippers, of which I plead guilt from time to time.
