Do you think TTR needs another bar or two open at night?

Me and the Mrs were just on about our return trip to Temptation. We loved just about everything on our first trip (may 2014) The daytime pool scene was fantastic, as was the buffet and restaurants. The Boobs Cruise was also amazing. The only thing we felt was missing was more bar options at night time, Don't get me wrong we enjoyed paty-o bar very much, but as we were there for 2 weeks it would of been nice to sit somewhere else having a proper drink in a real glass. The sports bar was ok but still the plastic cups. any one else have thoughts on this .

I understand where you are coming from and this has been mentioned before....my personal opinion on the subject is that I never wanna split the party. I want to be with everyone all the time. I'm sure there will be classier people then me though LOL

 

its a small resort too many options will split the group as mentioned .
It already happens when the had the pool party nights and other events bt the sports pool.

The back part of the buffet area ( near Patio,s) already has nice seating , you could just go in there with your drink, and there is a small bar too.

 

With the way people drink and have fun, you really want them served with glass beverage glasses? Really? There would be more broken glass and people getting cut than you can imagine. NO thanks, plastic is the only way.
Understand that with the small plastic glasses, you are constantly enroute to the bar to resupply. We have the bigger mugs sold in the gift shop. Problem solved and drink stays colder, longer!
We bring our own mugs for the pool and plastic wine glasses for night use. They bring it, we pour it in our glasses. Problem solved.
The restaurants serve glass ware for you to drink by the way.

Patty o does the job for a small resort. At the recent addition of the fans makes it better on warm nights. If anything they should do something with nice shoes. Just watching a show is unbearable with the mildew smell.

 

To me the other issue is the lack of variety in the music... or any way to actually get requests played...and heaven knows how hard is it...at a place called TTR...to play the odd slow song?!!

Final thought...a tent over patios...way up high...would address rain outs

 

Be careful what you wish for Lord knows how many changes there will be with the planned renovations. I say if it ain't broke don't fuck with it! I love TTR for what it is and am not looking forward to a bigger resort.....

 

I agree just do something with Nice Shoes. Considering how nice the rest of the resort is, nice shoes is a dump. The heat, smell and decor is completely out of character with everywhere else.

It would make a great indoor bar if they sorted it out, then that gets rid of the rain issue altogether. I don't think it would take much work either. Upgrade air conditioning, new dance floor (not a stage), replace the plastic chairs with comfortable couches and a few tables/chairs here and there.

 

Interesting question.

The thoughts about splitting the party may be right, but I wonder if there are some people that just aren't into that scene that would really enjoy something more intimate and quiet. I bet there are.

Couldn't they convert one of the restaurants to a bar at 10?

Nice shoes is a dump and the sports bar is also.
