I've given up trying to find white clothes that look good. I had something last year but leaky glow sticks left a permanent stain. I may just go OTT neon glow and forget about white. It's all about having fun more than anything!
Oh, the "normal clothes" part will be even more of a challenge, as we're going straight from Cancun to Miami for the Fins/Ravens game on the 7th with hubby's coworkers. . .
I hear you on the white clothes. I think I got something good this year though, silver totally counts as white right? I do also have to change my cosplay outfit. My Trish, Tamara and kurt are all in a theme and I don't want to be left out now. Back to the drawing board!
My Cosplay outfit is so so thin. Can't afford to sweat as I will be wearing a white J cloth. So thin I might re-think mine too. Top didn't fit, pants fit, cape is fine but shit so thin. glad I only paid 20 bucks and not 151.00 like other sites.
Bought the provisions for the bottle cap shots...does anyone know if Patyo's uses bar lime? I guess I could pack some in my luggage if not.
Last year I brought all the stuff I bought on line that did not fit and gave it away to women who were less prepared but better sized to fit my on line purchases. This year I did not shop online yet but my daughter has recently received four really nice costumes in the mail that would have been great for me had I not gained so much weight since last year. I may order a few items from the shops she ordered from the stuff came in a week and was quite reasonable. So glad to hear you are staying until the 10th Christa!!!
It really can be so many things. Official Wiki: "short for costume play, is a performance art in which participants called cosplayers wear costumes and fashion accessories to represent a specific character or idea that is usually identified with a unique name." It is lots of comic book, video game, science fiction shows, books, and movie stuff. Any character really, as opposed to just dressing up as a general costume theme.
It'd be a little funny if everyone forgot to pack "normal" clothes to wear on the return flight home.
My original cosplay outfit didn't quite work out, either. It looked like a damn gunny sack on me, which just won't do for TTR. I ended up piecing my outfit together and I'm much happier with the result. I'll be curious to see if anyone can figure it out. :wink3:
