My first trip to TTR with my semi-nervous wife is right in the middle of this "shit show". Are we in trouble?!
Depends how you define trouble... I think everyone who goes for the first time is nervous because they don't know what to expect. But you will quickly find out everyone is there to have a great time and welcomes newbies into the party with your choice to participate in as little or as much of the "shit show" as you like. Brent & Kells would be good to fill you in as we were first timers couple years ago. But there is a reasons why people keep coming back, because of the people there and the fun you two will have, guaranteed! You picked a great time to go, jump in with both feet and have a great time!
Nothing for her to be nervous about! Everyone is super friendly and non-judgemental...Just get her a drink or two and and she'll be just fine!:ernaehrung005:
We went for the first time in 2010 and normally never go back to the same Resort twice. We met so many amazing people here and had such a blast over the 2 weeks we stayed that we thought 'what the hell...let's do it again!' We're bringing my niece, her husband and our single friend along with us and one of the couples we met last time will be there too! Never met anyone from the Shit Show crew before but, we luv them already! Get to know the people going over the same time as you and you're sure to meet up with some if not all of them there! We'll buy the first round!
I haven't looked through all the posts. When does the shit show start? Dennis and I will be there the 25th? If it's over by that time, I know we can start another one on our own! LOL!
Nice Pat, we went through and added all the songs we could find on the list. A few of the remix wouldn't pull up for us, but we got a bunch of them added already. LOL, not gonna try and decide what should and shouldn't be added since if it was me it would all be current and throwback hip-hop.....So everyone, keepem comin so we have really good mix of party tracks for everyones preference
Like G&T said, the ShitShow is essentially Feb 13-20, but this is the first year the specific name has been out there and the big reason is because of your question.......Up until now pretty much the last 3 weeks of February were referred to as WEEK 8, and any time someone new asked when WEEK 8 was, you would get 3 different answers, LOL. The point of this little history lesson is that while you may not be there for the ShitShow, you will be there for what most would deem the original WEEK 8 week, so you will still be there with an awesome group.......AND No, The Shitshow will not leave any alcohol for you.....Too fukin Bad
