You bet the fun is about to begin! I just checked Expedia for the dates we are coming and they say the hotel is sold out. So I went on to check Alpharooms for the same dates (Nov 14 to 23rd) and they say same thing. So guess that means PARTY. Sure do hope there is not to much "bumping" to other hotels. BTW 16 more sleeps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Interesting and surprising! We arrive on the 20th to December 4th. Did you happen to notice bookings beyond the 23rd? Certainly sounds as if theme nights at Patty O's should be active. I just checked Expedia on the dates we are going and they are still selling all rooms... but I'd lose my mind if we got there and they tried to send us to a different resort.. I'm hoping it's just an option they would give you. There is no other TTR!!! :huepfen021:
They are sold out the 13th through the 15th according to the TTR website. The rest of the month no days are sold out yet.Your first weekend will be packed.Only 21 more days for us
The only couple I know that has ever been bumped is GoGoBlanco. They volunteer to be bumped to Desire. I don't believe any extra charges incur and Desire is much more expensive than TTR ...just a different atmosphere. I am no expert on the subject and don't want to become one ...if you get my drift!
Gotcha! Thanks for clarifying....not saying we would go, as we want to meet and party with you all.... but we both do LOVE Desire, haven't been in a few years so it would be a struggle to say No! We are actually looking at next Sept to go back there. Perhaps I should hurry up and book it, then we wouldn't have a reason to transfer....lol. We sure did! To Pearl, when it was still in it's infancy.We knew TTR would be fully booked, so "volunteered" ourselves at check in. It is optional, nobody will force you to go to Desire, it's not for everyone. And there is no extra cost. However it doesn't seem to be such a common occurrence lately, as the occupancy at Desire & Pearl is high at peak times too. But fingers crossed for next April....:daisy:
Bumping As shared, don't worry about bumping. Occasionally, they do ask a few people to move over to Desire Pearl or Desire but only when they are completely booked. It has occurred in the high peak months of February or April but it would be unusual in November. Appreciate hearing your positive comments on Desire. We have been to Desire Pearl twice and thought it was fantastic! Looking forward to partying with all of you.
