It sounds like Southwest has some gate personnel issues at CUN. They would be well advised to get a handle on that ASAP.
I believe all gate personnel are the airports in CUN. I don't think this would have worked if it was swest personnel.
The whole 'rush' seating thing just sounds like a pain in the ass to me. Even though all the seats are the same why not assign seating?
It is a strange way to load a plane. Flew SW twice....not sure if we liked it as it seems to be a mob scene.
What I like about SW is their flight attendants. At least I used to. They were always fun, happy, chilled people that actually liked their job. That made for a nice flight.
Thats why i've never flown SW, im real particular about where I sit..Aprils flown them a couple times and hates the way they do there seating
We paid for early boarding $50.00 for four of us leaving Cancun. The first flight we were in the a's second flight we had c boarding and sat in the last seat on the plane. Wrote southwest and they sent me a voucher for $50.00 and an apology
Good point about being one of the first off for immigration! I fly SW every month, and don't put SW and immigration together in the same thought. My SW flights are usually to exotic locations like KC, Omaha, MSP, and TPA.
If you can get GLOBAL ENTRY very worth it. Just walk up to a kiosk scan passport, put fingers on the reader. It prints a receipt and walk by everone in line. Did this in Baltimore this year it was great it took 3 mins and we were through.
Not bad flying alone, or on a short flight, although not so good when flying on a long flight. Overall, my first choice for an airline to fly.
