This would be very likely if this was actually goin to happen. but there is a plethora of shelved plans in TTR history. I would be massively surprised if this became reality
That's pretty good of them if they do that. Even though it wouldn't be a lot of money it's probably far more than they would be required to do.
There is indeed a history of shelved plans, but I think this time it is different. I would be surprised if this one doesn't become reality.
Well after all of the poor reviews people write about wet floors, mold and broken air conditioners, etc... I'm not surprised to read this thread. If they are going to do this, I hope they do it fast!!
So, odds are pretty high they are gonna jack the prices once this is done too eh? That would suck! It is already pricey to go to TTR, but the atmosphere makes it worth it. I'd imagine they would raise the prices to help pay for the renos though...:bash:
DIY Boobs Cruise, BC style. Twin Anchors Houseboat Rentals & Vacations, Shuswap Lake, BC Some of our talk while sitting on the dock, star-gazing, has centered around how fun it would be to have 4-5 couples of interest sharing a houseboat for a long weekend.

I am struggling with a couple things... 1. why were they redoing a side of the quiet pool jacuzzi rooms last week if this is really imminent. Why wouldn't they wait until the hotel shuts down? They lost jacuzzi room income last week with less available. 2. they seem all about the bottom line in everything they do. staff terms, costs for parties, up charges. I just can't see them shutting down the entire resort for 10 months. And definitely can't imagine them paying to keep employees when they don't seem to care about the turnover too much now. To me it means it will take a while to get started and they won't completely shut down. I don't think they will have any issue with throwing people in the rooms around the quiet pool and keeping their key employees on board to service them and tell the guests that that loud noise they hear will stop any minute.
