    We'll have to wait and see. As it stands we're unlikely to get enough people from other hotels to make the cruises worthwhile running. The question is will 'our kind' of people still visit Cancun but stay elsewhere, I suspect not.

    One thing I forgot to add in my previous post is that the hotel may be looking into leasing a different hotel temporarily where they could transfer their concept. Whether that will happen I don't know.

    They were still selling GOV in June when it was sold in April. They will be the last to know.

    Looks like it is going to be necessary to book a trip in May. It could be a long time before we get to go back.

    Jannet and I discussed the possibility of renting a big villa/small hotel maybe 20/30 rooms or so and carry on small cancuncare group parties there. But I think the more we looked into it the less interested we got. It would be a huge financial risk, and probably not one I'd wish to take at this stage.

    I wonder how soon till they know dates. We booked for mid June through Alpharooms. Personally we would love to see this pushed back to July since we are coming with a group of people. Haven't purchased airfare yet, so will hold off on that

    We just became premier at octoberbreast and the guy we spoke with told us that he's seen the plans and that the sexy pool will become huge. .. a combination of both the current sexy pool and the sports pool put together. He also talked about the 8 story tower. I think the end result will be worth the wait.

    My concern is that the resort will become so large that it will lose a lot of the closeness that people like there now (easier to find and make friends, able to have the same server/bartenders over multiple days, etc.)
