Temptation will be closing its doors

I'm not sure I like what an 8 story building would do to the Sexy Pool. It might cast a huge shadow over it [emoji17]

 

For the renovation of the DRM pool and restaurant closure - they updated the folks more than 6-months out. Emails/Announcements went out first week of February for the closure on Sept 1.

Rumors Donald, all rumors so far.

 

lol,, I said the same thing last year and was raked over the coals.

last year they talked about it 7 or 8 stories going over the buffet area or front lobby, guess what ?,, thats where the afternoon sun comes from,, even worse in the cool winter months when the sun is lower.

I,m hopefull they did there homework

What makes u think we are unaware. Have known this information for a long time. As IdareU stated, Steve posted essentially the same info 10 months ago.
There really isn't no new info.
And there is no date for any completion. Let alone a start date.

I just got back, and they were telling. Not specifics like "when or how long", but that they were going to close for renovations.

 

Glad we decided on this last minute November trip instead of waiting until it closed

 

I am setting the over/under on when it actually closes (if it really does) at March 2016. Logic is things take a while in Mexico and then they open for xmas/new years season end of 2016.

Renovations are good and I think they are badly needed, though the article does´t mention if it will continue to be Temptation as we know it or will they change it to a family friendly hotel or an upscale adult resort like Desire. I, for one, would love it if they up the ante and surprise us with The Nuovo Temptation Resort with new and improved areas, but leave prices and the sexy, fun mood intact (we don´t need another Desire, there are already two).

We´ve never been to Hedo, but have heard that they are also renovating that resort. Maybe this is TTR´s response to that as both cater to adult couples AND singles.
