Where did the band set up at the pool? How long did they play? What did they play? Never ever heard of this at pool
They setup on top of the premier area above the DJ booth. Prime seating is at the swim up bar. I heard Deep Purple, Guns N' Roses, Def Leppard, Zepplin......they absolutely nailed the music, but sometimes you can tell that their lyrics are emulating what they heard on radio or whatever. I heard that they were the 'house band' at Dady Rock unil it closed. I'm thinking that they played from about 2 - 4:30....... Not absolutely sure......kind of fuzzy at that time of day! LOL Btw, the last 2 nights at Paty'Os began with surprise entertainment from about 9-10. Had a sexy singer one night and a guy playing electric violin last night! The guy on violin was amazing! Got the place all sorts of stirred up!
Thanks for the info. Good to hear about the band. Great location. Wish I had seen that. Is it gonna be a regular gig or was just a one time thing? Sounds like your having a great vacation. I have seen that guy on Violin. He is entertaining. Kinda like Jean Luc Ponty back in the day. How many are on Ent staff now? Still just JJ?
I'm not sure if the band will become a permanent part of the pool party, but they were certainly a refreshing change, even if just short term. "Great" would be an understatement! Never ceases to amaze us how so many cool, sociable people can choose to congregate in one place! JJ is kind of the lead. Then there are 2 young ladies and another young man. Today is the first encounter with the new male on the staff and he seemed very good! His attitude fits like a glove! The 2 young ladies are still kind of quiet, more background help, it seems, but have spoken with both and are super sociable and sweet!
