Yes lol here it's really pricey! 2799$ for 7 day at GOV and 2700 at TTR + 55$ for transportation + the parking at 100 for 7 days and all m'y. Expense

 

Yeah, everyone thinks that it must be so cheap and easy to fly from California. Well, maybe to Cabo but not to Cancun. Whip out your globe and see where the Yucatan peninsula is and then it will all make sense. The most direct flight from Northern California that we can get to Cancun is through Houston and we still have to bend east a bit after Houston.

 

Try getting there from New Zealand, Flights alone round trip are US$5800. Makes for an expensive vacation. Looking forward to getting there however.

 

There has to be a reasonable alternative closer to NZ. That's just crazy.

 

Expensive travel is a pitfall we have to live with being at the bottom of the world. No alternative close by like TTR, though for a vacation any of the Pacific Islands are great mid year but the weather can be unpredictable over Christmas period.

 

Wow, someone in NZ should open up an adult-only all-inclusive over there! It would probably make a fortune!

 

I hope you make the traveling worth it and spend at least 2 weeks. Maybe a month. LOL
