I wish I had seen this earlier. We'd be in Cancun by 9AM! Sadly though, all days surrounding our departure are sold out.
We do the same from Vegas. Nothing direct, so we always take red eyes. But in a couple weeks, we leave Vegas at midnight, fly through Mexico City, then get there at 10am. Best to be early than late...
Have spoken with a lot of Americans about non-direct flights we don't have those from Toronto. We have done like Simply2Dlicious caught the early flight and got there by 10 caught in customs. Luckily for us we got to the resort and our room was ready changed and got to enjoy the whole day there and the added bonus was return flight left at 7pm so got another day of sun there as well. The hard part is that walk of shame around the pool on the last day when you're saying goodbye to the people and the party
I'm not having a lot of luck yet. Doing more research today if I have time. I guess we could leave the day before & drive. 41 hours & 2428 miles from KC according to Google. Anyone want to carpool?
We fly out of Tijuana on a direct flight that arrives at about 7am. Works out awesome! Edit: It's perfect time to grab a little breakfast and take a nap/siesta in the beach hammocks till the pool starts picking up.
we flew out of Memphis on US Airways from Memphis (6 am) to Charlotte .. and leave Charlotte 9:30 am get to Cancun by 11:30 a m ... so if U stay in Charlotte overnight U can get into Cancun by 11:30 am...
There's a flight via American Airlines (Ugh) leaving Miami at 07:00 & lands at 07:45! That flight is $536 for both of us though. If we leave the day before, Frontier is $600 total, landing around 14:00! But I also burn another vacation day of work though & have to sort the kiddos for another day. Crazy how much a day makes. Anyone do this travel planning for a living? LOL I hate doing this. I just want to be there now!
We usually fly out of Buffalo around 6 am to Charlotte and end up in Cancun at 10:30 am. Get thru customs and get to the hotel less than an hour later with the USA shuttle.
That's funny. We are doing that exact same itinerary 2 days later. If only we could have gotten some more time off work we could have shared a USA transfer.
