Believe me when I say our thoughts were with you. Numerous times that weekend we checked our watchs and converted the 6 hr time difference and figured out what you guys were doin at that exact time. Fir instance we were on Table Mountain, about 4:30pm Sat, and surveying the vista. I said to Marilyn 'Would you rather b here or in NoLa putting on a pirate costume getting ready for the pub crawl?" She, after a long pause, said she couldn't decide what was better. "There both good options" "I bet they'll have a great parade this year as long it doesn't rain. Prolly the best one cuz we aren't there. But Therr is next year and we will try to go" she said I also thought about the Chart Room for NFL kickoff on Sunday. Thinking of the party you folks were having gathered round the bar. I assume you guys had a gr8 weekend? Figure Chinos was on his game and on fire now that he he had been on Bourbon St b4.
We appreciate the thoughts! It was an amazing weekend! Raised over $81,000 for Make-a-Wish and had a blast celebrating!! No we aren't going, they had a possibility of a hurricane in the atlantic right now so we don't want to take the chance and be there if it's happen. Normally we do one trip in us on the sumemr one in septemberr then mexico in mars-april .. This year we did 2 trips.. then we did a short trip of 3 days ( nothing reallly cool tho ) .. Ben did want to go but now we are not sure depends of the hurricane which direction it goes. !
Yep . Our business starting FINALLY, to get crazy so we just might do an april trip ! I prefer to stay home safely than travel and don't know what will happen ! Ben was talking about TTR last few days, how the food was good and it will be hard to find a resort with good food and nice people. when we was checking taht yesterday ben was like it's that me or the resort are just boring !! We took the kids to the mayan riviera in June and wow....it was so dead being June and all kids are out of school. We beefed it up for the kids of course. The kids loved it. Mom and dad....we needed more. But that's why we have a family vacation and a grown up vacation
Yep !! We was looking to go to riviera maya in a 5 * it was like 600 each taxes and fee in with flight .. but after looking at the reviews was seems to be very borring .. Ben was hummm maybe we can go to universal studio in florida.. Good Idea buddy there's a post hurrican storm right now .. So will be safer to just stay here and continue to make some money and earn points with the credit card so that way, when will be the time to book our flight well it will be almost free =)
