I understand what you are saying but sometimes people have an amazing ability to piss people off on forums. Most people do not. This guy does. Not even sure if he's a real TTR guest. This is not one simple question that people were rude too. There is a history.
While geographically the hurricane was on the other side of the country the economic impact will be felt in Cancun in the next few months as tourists looking to vacation in Mexico scramble to find alternate plans while some of the resorts make repairs, I imagine prices in Cancun will rise to reflect this. I'm not sure of the full extent of the damage but I'm guessing there will be a room shortage there.
I am beginning to think that the OP was answering a question from Jay Leno on his "Man on the Street" interviews? Where is Mexico located? There did seem to be a little over reaction to the question though. Seems like people are real keyboard warriors and have to jump on anything that even the least bit rubs them the wrong way. Just my $.02 worth!!
