NOT MY OPINION, THIS IS FROM A RECENT TA REVIEW “WHAT A DUMP! (Girls and Boys gone wild for 50 yr olds)” Reviewed 3 days ago NEW It floors me to see all the great reviews of this place. My partner and i were looking for an adults only resort in cancun. Part of the problem would be my travel agent who suggested this place. This place is clearly for 50 yr olds who are into (what we saw upon arrival at noon by the main pool) licking whip cream off of a bare chested woman. If those type of activities happen during the day, who knows what goes on for the evening entertainment. The place smells musty and so does the room as arriving on christmas day, we were forced to spend the night as all the tour operator in the United States was closed and could not make alternate arrangments for us. From the few hours we had time to walk the grounds while waiting for our tour operator representative to arrive, we were able to sample the high school grade cafeteria style food. Not to mention no Corona beer was available. This was supposed to be a 4 plus golden apple resort. Dinner was bland too. Again no dress code applied ever for dinner. I was happy to see private parts covered up for dinner. No mention in the online photos or write up the beach is at most 20 feet deep from water to building full of seaweed. No mention it was adults clothing optional ....which most women were topless if not bottomless. Men going crazy as if they have never seen a naked woman. All in all it was like a tjmax level hedonism. Unless you're going solo and/or swingers, be cautious. This is definitely a place to pick up run of the mill guests!. Room Tip: Be sure not to get a room by the disco as the disco music is full force to 6 am!
LOL I agree that TTR is not for everyone but when you say the "disco music is full force to 6 am" I call BS And for me once I think you are full of it the rest of your opinion becomes worthless!
hee hee We will be returning for our 7th trip in November. We are over 50 so we must be one of those couples gone wild! Occasionally, we do shop at TJMax. However, we frequent Nordstrom's, Lord&Taylor as well. We find part of the enjoyment is in discovery. Yes, the beach is not large and does not have the powder white sand of northern Florida. If you want silicon sand it can be bought at the local hardware. Obviously, they did not read anything on line about TTR or clothing optional (topless) would have had its' shock value prior to the trip. Personally, we will take all the great OPEN MINDED people we have met at TTR. We hope this couple finds their perfect vacation paradise. We'll take the run of the mill and smile. :mnm:
personally guessing...but I imagine, based upon her/his snobby attitude...the travel agent might have been sick of their SH*$, and sent them there for the sheer personal enjoyment of it, Really...a 30 second search prevents surprises... I call BS... can they be that stupid???
Keep those reviews coming. Only means more booze for us "REAL" people and maybe a little help to drive the cost down!!!!! PARTYYYYYYY
