I have found far and away that most people are in the same mindset of not wanting to see a picture of themselves on the internet. During our stays there we have only taken group photos without the pool as a background. On the cruises most people tend to only take of themselves and will let you know they are taking a picture. It is not as much of a problem as you may think. In fact we have found the opposite to be the rule. Judy was in a photo that went on facebook where we were asked if it was okay. It was nothing that was revealing in our opinion and said sure. Well they edited the image and then we were like really its okay to post and they posted it. The group here is way cooler about it than you can imagine. Relax, be attentive to surroundings and have a blast.
Back to the original posters concerns ,,,, we all agree CC peeps know and respect the issues at hand , but not all are from CC or educated on the subject, the resort doesnt watch all the time,,,,,, but like I mentioned before just Google TTR resort , then click on images, you will see a lot of pics with people in the back ground doing very adult things. The resort does keep an eye on cameras now and then, but last time I was there ( halloween) I caught a guy doing up skirts shots of women on the dance floor , (in Patio,s),, there is a risk , so the poster should know the risks if a job is a risk. Most of the pics on the search are not xxx rated, but they do imply it, in the TTR way https://www.google.ca/search?q=temp...phototbdc%2Ftemptations-resort-cancun;640;480
She can wear big sunglasses and a floppy beach hat! Unless she has identifying tattoos, she will probably not be recognizable in the background of someone else's photos. There are cameras everywhere, but most people are respectful with their cameras.
Thanks all, I was not really too worried about being in the background of totally innocent pictures taken by other couples etc. Our concern was the handful of single guys that basically are on a mission to take pictures of women, so they can post online or show there buddies back home. You know the type that try and be sneaky with there phones and make believe they are texting but actually taking pictures. Having been to South Beach, Haulover Beach (which as most know is a legal public nude beach just north of Miami), Club Orient in St. Martin, and even one husband at Desire RM. There always seems to be a handful of guys that get overwhelmed with the real concept and basically have to be a dirtbag and make things stressful for the woman to let loose and just have fun where "hopefully" nobody knows them.....
We've seen cameras go swimming a couple times..........and a couple SD cards get sanded on the pool deck. Be respectful of others and you won't have any problems. Perv on someone else's wife without her permission and all bets are off. A couple years ago there was a guy with a camera on the end of a 3ft piece of PVC. He was asked to stop a few times and unfortunately didn't heed the warnings. Entertainment staff cautioned him.........finally..........as rumors have it.........his device took a kayak ride maybe 50yrds off the beach and never was seen again..... He pissed off a group of Cajuns. Not smart!
I saw a go-pro on the end of a stick last Halloween at patios, and another flying over the Sexy pool on one of those quad helicopters.
The guys that do that crap.........would get further.................if they played by the rules. Again according to rumors.............................the guy responsible may have himself gone for a kayak ride a little farther off shore had he continued! Cajun Larry............props guy!
I had mentioned this in another thread, because I was unaware of camera rules. I had a pic took of me a few years ago on a booze cruise in Negril Jamaica by a friend. I didn't think much of it, but when he posted it on FB, it almost got me kicked out of the Army.. So I completely understand your wife's concerns. AJ
So I did your recommended google search of images showing TTR. Turns out I knew a half dozen people in the first page alone (including myself). If you really have an issue...... tell people a different name and don't get involved. None of the photos were anything to be embarrassed about but they were shots that involved the resort name.
