My wife and I have been to TTR the last 3 years and have had the time of our lives. Planning another trip for this winter but she is wanting a change of scenery. I've done a lot more travelling than she has and know that TTR is where I want to go but she would like to try Dr, Jamaica or somewhere else Caribbean. Anyone experienced another resort that has the same party atmosphere we've come to love at Temptation? She's not ready to try Desire or hedo (took me a few years to convince her to try TTR!). Been to a couple other all inclusives that were so beautiful... And so BORING. ideas?
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. We've had a number of friends who've tried to"fix it." Other than Desire, they've regretted it. We're content with TTR. May do Desire one day.

Don't think you're going to find the TTR experience anywhere else. It's really a unique concept that, based on what I've read, exists only there. Desire is more luxurious (from what I've read) but a different atmosphere. For the party atmosphere, TTR is it. It does depend on the other guests. Different weeks at TTR can have a different vibe as well.
Take a serious look at Desire Pearl! It's c/o but reasonably tame as compared to Desire RM. At Pearl 50 ish percent wear their bottoms and the PDA/S is must less than Desire RM.......
I would go to Pearl in a heartbeat but she hears Desire and immediately shuts that idea down. Ive got no problem going c/o because everyone will be blinded by my near albino whiteness! :bootyshake:
We totally hear ya! We're in the same boat. Doing TTR next month, but are thinking about Pearl in the winter, Been there twice and love it! We've had a great time there, I guess depends one the crowd....We just need to start a group looking to go then!
I've looked around as well. TTR appears to be unique. No other place compares. Hedonism is too much for a lot of people and doesn't appear to have the party atmosphere. If TTR could get consistent entertainment, they would be golden.
My wife and I were thinking the same. We decided on Desire Pearl even though my wife was a bit against it. We went a couple weeks ago, ended up having a very good time. I would say more than half of folks wore there bottoms while we were there. My wife was happy and it turned out to be a lot like TTR with a little more upscale feel. The only PDA were at the Jacuzzi and it wasn't overwhelming at all. We still love TTR but do have another option
