I was pleasantly surprised that the Marlies I bought in Cancun were nearly identical to my Canadian brand and not at all like an American cigarette.
Perhaps if you stopped drinking benzene, you might not notice the similarity. :icon_wink: Seriously, it may be one of two things. Either you're drinking from one of their glasses which may be cracked (and therefore trapped who-knows-what-else in the cracks), or it's the bottom shelf liquor. Make sure the glass is clean and undamaged, and/or ask for one of the brand name liquors. =)
I noticed this years ago , but since bringing our own cups have not had a problem. Some of the cups were disgusting , some even having cigaret burns in the bottom.
Stacia's a vodka drinker, and that's her thing late night at Patyo's, Vodka-Sprite or the Mexican equivalent of Sprite, whatever that is. She's never had any complaints about the vodka itself. Somebody probably screwed up cleaning a gun on the line for the mixers would be my bet.
The bottom shelf vodka at Temptation tastes likes absolute shit. I only drink vodka at home and would only order Smirnoff or Skyy with orange juice and never had a problem. However, one day I made the mistake of ordering a screwdriver, and they gave me bottom shelf vodka, which I immediately had replaced with Skyy or Smirnoff, because that bottom shelf vodka shit tastes like tequila.
Sounds like the benzene and soap infused vodka is pretty popular! LOL! Seriously, I. Have never seen infused vodka there but I assumed they didn't have it and never asked.
My bartender at my favorite sports bar gave me a hint for drinking Vodka. U have a shot of vodka, water and add your favorite flavor of Crystal Light (CL) Drink Mix.. they come in single drink packs here in the USA. CL has 5 calories per 8 oz and no carbs...and since I drink these mixes all of the time at home, I can see doing this with my Vodka drinks at TTR to reduce the carbs and calories intake ...and maybe even liking the taste of the drinks. Vodka is low in cals and carbs - unlike beer -and other sugary drinks that is offered at the pool ...so even thou I will have beer and some frozen drinks I am hoping I can cut down my consumption of them with some Vodka and water (mixed with CL) :aetsch004:
