Yes, it's full payment on pick up.

The reason they ask for the return leg payment in advance is because asking for the second payment on the return leg would class them as a 'taxi' and would upset the real taxi drivers who have a very strong union and can cause the transportation companies problems.

Since I'm traveling solo, I'm debating between the airport shuttle and USA Transfers. Is there a free shuttle from the airport to TTR? If not, how much? And does anyone have an estimate as to how long the shuttle ride might take? Any general advice for a solo traveler going from airport to TTR and back?

Only advice I can give you is this. Sign up for one of the boards that Steve has on the site showing what dates you'll be there and look for others that will be there at the same time. Then contact some of the people in your weeks and see if any of them are arriving at the airport the same time you are and ask if they'd like to share a ride to the resort. Works two ways you get to share a ride which is cheaper than going by yourself, and at least you'll know someone at the resort.

Unless you have a transfer bundled in with your package I'd say spend the money on a private one (ie. USA Transfers).

At $55 bucks round trip it is well worth the price, you won't save much if you get a shared transfer somewhere.

USA Transfers is the one sponsoring this site, and we've used them and they've always been on time, clean, safe, efficient and price-point wise they are quite fair.

Going upscale, we've used Lomas Travel for a private ride, but typically USA Transfers is usually private too, though not every single time.

TransBeach was the company that the Premier Member guests used to use, and it's switched to someone else recently, I forget who, but both were excellent and slightly less expensive for the PM guests than non PM on USA Transfers. Private, too, though the ride isn't an Escalade or Navagator.

But yes, you'll have to arrange your own ride to Temptation if you don't see that on your reservation paperwork. Get it set up BEFORE you go!

We're using USA Transfers and at $55 R/T for a couple in a private coach you can't beat it. Especially that you don't have to wait around and they take you straight to your hotel.

We also used USA Transfers. Our driver was fantastic...we wanted some beer for the ride to TTR, so he stopped at a local store, and even came in with me to make sure I wasn't getting ripped off. Will be using USA Transfers every time from now on. $55 is for a round trip.
