Keep up the good work, whatever your motivation. I used to be 185 lbs and over 30% body fat. Using programs on bodybuilding.com I was able to ants form my body to 130 lbs and 10.5 body fat. Now I'm trying to add lean muscle with an ultimate goal of being 160 lbs at 8% body fat. You can do this. Remember it's 25% in the gym and 75% in the kitchen.
Ok So, you know I had my apt because it was my weight day last wednesday morning.. Well my scale tell me something that I can't believe. Even after breakfast and snack, the scale tell me I lost 4.2 pounds.... in 3 days ... I don't know if I can believe.. I'm eating very low carbs.. like 31.38 grams for tuesday, 29.57 for wednesday, 29.8 yesterday... and so far today I ate 11 grams... I'm I bought a keurig, then I'm drinking coffee each morning, and I found to loose more weight on coffee that not drinking any ( I don't put any sugar in, well twins, but since twins it's aspartam, and it make you feel hungry, I always drink twins only when I'm eating, that way I don't have any crave. Oh well .. we see next week
Blondie and I are doing it too. We have been wanting to lose weight for awhile but getting ready for our first TTR trip last May got us to do something about it. I maxxed out at a horrifying 292lbs. I am currently at 253 with my ultimate goal of 210. That is a work out driven 210 so my actual fat loss will be even greater. Blondie started at 188lbs and is currently at 169 with her goal being 145. Now we have our Halloween trip coming up and and then we're back again in May. Our hope is to make our final goals by our May trip so we can do our big "reveal" at TTR. Yes, we are doing this for ourselves, each other, our health and our kids but public exposure in a sexy atmosphere is definitely a good added incentive.

Congrats to everyone that is working hard and making progress... I too (Brent) decided that I wanted to show up for my next trip in self-respectable shape. Last year I decided I was not gonna care because "nobody gives a shit" and while it was true that I felt while at Temptation that it wouldn't have made a difference to everyone else what kinda shape I was in, it was always in the back of my mind. So now, I'm full force, back at it........I'm 7 weeks in to my plan, and as a guy my biggest overall concern is body fat percentage over weight. Ideally I would love to weigh as much as I do with low body fat.........Anyways, the point of my post is that I wanted to share with you and anyone else that is interested the best bodyfat calculator I have found and used over the last 10-15 years of my interest in weight lifting/nutrition. I have a chart that I have saved on my phone, but I am providing a link to a site that calculates it for you. Just plug in the numbers it asks for and boom.......you got your bodyfat percentage. Using it month to month I sometimes learn I have to eat more or do less cardio because my body is sacrificing muscle which nobody needs (male or female).
