I think when GOV gave up on the sexy/party concept so quickly that TTR slowed down on the pace of doing construction. If there were any real plans in place that is!
Didn't they just announce that GOV was going to a family theme? Swore I heard that. Will research it.
Yes, that's what Darin & Melissa mentioned, GOV was sold to another company and will be family themed on it's reopening. I wouldnt quite say Oasis 'gave up' on the sexy adults only theme though, the hotel no longer belongs to the Oasis group so they have no say over the concept there any more. Oasis are transferring the sexy adults only theme to another of their hotels - the Oasis Sens. We have a meeting there tomorrow to find out the latest.
When we went and saw the VIP deck under construction I watched with some interest as they did little or nothing day after day. I saw no progress. Yet, when we came back 5 months later it was complete so work actually took place. Like watching grass grow. In Hawaii they call it "Island Time" When I lived on Maui I took a job at a mountain bike tour company. Within a month I took over the company and our booking increased 70% The owner was amazed to have an employee actually work for him. After another month or so of getting high everyday and everynight I understood about Island Time. I was going somewhere with this but have lost my train of thought...:ernaehrung015:
The GOV forum. I may switch the GOV forum to a Sens forum at a later date. Depends on what I find out and how committed I think they are to making the concept a success.
