Boardshorts or Men Square Cut Swimsuits?

After reading some of these posts, these square cut shorts don't sound all that bad. The thing I am thinking about is I already have like 6 decent pairs of board shorts. If I was to buy the square cuts and like them, they might all go to waste. The other thing is that there is no way I could wear those anywhere other than vacation. I go beach often in NJ, DE, and MD and you will very rarely see someone in anything other than board shorts.

 

That's all I'm packing this trip...square cuts and speedos..

 

I have some of these. Would it be out of place at TTR?

You will only find both of us in thongs/G-strings once were by the pool or on the beach . Of course we prefer to be naked but that's not allowed at TTR

I've worn all three styles discussed her and prefer the fit and feel in this order:

1. Swim Brief (Speedo Style [Clever is my preferred brand])
2. Swim Trunk (Square Cut [Clever is my preferred brand])
3. Board Short (Volcom is my preferred brand)

Once you get over the shock of feeling like you don't have anything on, there is nothing like the brief. For the brief or trunk, go with a pouch design and you won't be constricted. Hit the gym, and rock it!!!

Looks like it will be speedo's and thongs for me and the wife.

 

i normally wear board short but want to go for square cut. but don't know what brand will be conformable.
