It does work every time. I'm not pompous. The staff love getting tips. Tipping is always the right thing to do even though they claim they don't want you to tip. If tipping is pompous, not tipping is rude. If it didn't always work we wouldn't always get seated. As I pointed out, lots of drunks don't make their reservations so no one is overburdened. I'm sorry we disagree.
Melissa couldn't agree more. This was my first visit in July this year. I remember I missed my dinner, why? I was sleeping drunk on the beach chair till 1AM lol an employer came and asked if I am ok, I woke up and went to my room, and just grabbed hamburger from pattyo. There is a fine line between "tipping" for services rendered, and "bribing" for queue jumping, upgrades etc. :daisy:

Mr Birchfield wants to show his wife a nice birthday! I forgot this is an international BB. Allow me to explain. Tipping (bribery if you like) is business as usual in non socialist countries. It is the official language of Mexico. The money goes directly into the employees pocket. Its a beautiful thing! However, if you prefer to feed the machine, consider this option. At check in, tell the desk you want to see someone about a membership! You will receive preferred dinner reservation times, premium liquors and many other fine offers! Try to negotiate at about 5000.00. They will ask for 3 x that. Then you can look from your deck, and spot folks like me, getting the same excellent service and perks as you 5.00 or 10.00 at a time. It's always amazing how non members strike such a nerve with the members.:huh:

Thank you all for your input and advice, sounds like we will do dinner plans Saturday like we plan on doing the rest of our vacation........ play it by ear. We will definitely make reservations for a couple of nights while are there.
Italian and Asian were the best, but we had no complaints about any of the food there. Would have been nice for a bit more breaky selection, but still not bad.
Tex mex was great too, loved their steak, Actually tasted better then the italien. and you just walk in no need for reservations. who Actually remembers to call for reservations, Having to much fun to worry about it, anyways most of the friends that you party with would have reservations for 4 to 8 people!!!. never reserve for only 2!!!!
Oh, I forgot! They like when the gentlemen wear pants and collared shirts. Actually, its a rule! It's a nice idea. Its sort of like a classy thing to in between hours of non stop drinking!
