We went with our best friends two times. I was up front that I was going to be topless and probably naked for tequilla volleyball and well we had a great time. cindy went topless too and we all went nude lol. We have never been nude at home though. What happens in cancun stays in cancun unless of course the friends have pics.
Definitely consider the type people you're thinking of bringing to TTR; will they inhibit you? Or will you inhibit them? It's a great resort and tons of fun, but it isn't for everybody (read some of the Trip Advisor reviews; the bad reviews are generally from someone who wasn't of the right mindset for TTR). We invited Marilyn's sister Dorothy and her husband for a trip in Oct. 2008. We showed them candid pictures, several with Marilyn topless (not to start camera debate #3). Also told Dorothy that she'd most likely have her picture taken. Her reaction was "Oh, I don't care." The vacation turned out great. We all 4 had a blast! Both girls were topless the whole time, got onstage for games and stuff, played naked tequilla volleyball, and both were photographed easily 50 times. Marilyn has 2 other sisters; one was sort of put off by the camera issue. The other is just not TTR material; she'd be much happier at 1 of the other 100+ resorts in Cancun. But we'd discussed everything in advance. If friends (or relatives) might keep you from letting loose, it might be a bad idea to bring them. At a minimum, be upfront and honest about expectations. Tell people what the resort is really like, the good and the bad. Of people we know, some would fit right in at TTR, go with the flow, and party like rock stars. Others would turn up their noses and shake their heads in disapproval. You gotta ask yourself honestly if someone you're thinking of bringing would fit in, or if they're more the Ritz type who prefers a dull, G or PG atmosphere.
My Susie was the same way Todd, but it only took 2 hours!!!! :huepfen013::huepfen013: Whenever I bring up TTR to friends I always ask that if they came w/ us would being topless bother them. No negative responses from the ladies yet!! Maybe I only ask the right friends!!
I know my wife pretty dang well after 42 years. If we went to TTR with some we knew, after about the first 30 minutes topless and after the first 3-4 beers, she would look at me, smile and say "If I catch you looking at her boobs again there is gonna be Hell to pay".
We took 3 of our single friends with us back in June for our 2nd Trip to celebrate our 1st Year Anniversary, so our best mates wanted to celebrate with us aswel as go on a holiday of a life time! Our one male friend we brought was VERY consious he had 'man boobs' and told us he would wear a vest top all the time, even in the pool as he felt so self consious, after weeks of telling him we loved him just the way he was, he ended up taking his top off within minutes of hitting the pool and he looked great, no 'man boobs' in sight! Out 2 girl friends had never taken their tops off in front of us before but again , it took them about 30 minutes to follow my Wife's lead and get the puppies out! We all looked at each other and laughed about having 'no secrets' anymore! We're such a close bunch but at home, living in the UK, you don't really get ya kit off in front on eachother as there's no need but in TTR it's requirment almost! It was great fun and we're all closer than ever! I'm sure it'll be a similar case with you and you're pals!
