We know 2 restaurants require reservations. We wont arrive until late Saturday afternoon. Would we be able to get a reservation for Saturday evening? And which one(s) do you prefer?
Probably won't be able to get a reservation for Saturday night. However there are 2 sit down restaurants and the buffet that are walk up restaurants. I love both the italian and the asian restaurants, either one is just fine with me.
We never bother trying with reservations the first day we arrive...we either end up hitting the buffet (which we actually think is pretty good at night) or Bellavista over by the quiet pool.
I wouldn't worry about reservations for Sat night. If your just arriving you don't want to be rushed. Several choices that don't require reservations and they are very good. Just walk in and eat when your ready.
I feel like that first day(also arriving sat AM) I would want to eat in one of the reservation restaurants. Probably the only meal i am going to remember clearly.
It never hurts to ask if they can squeeze you in. Tell them you just got in and didn't have a chance to make reservations and see if they can get the two of you in. We did that when we arrived last month and were able to be seated. The worst they can do is say no. If they can't get you in, make reservations for the next night.
Most newbies fall prey to the first day curse, so I wouldn't plan on remembering the first night. Just sayin' Also, you do not have to have reservations at Margaritas and they are pretty good for dinner. Melissa
I actually powered through that first day and even ended up carrying someone back to their room. Later in the week, the favor just had to be returned Pretty sure I just drank my dinner that night. :ernaehrung005:
