We have always used USA Transfers and they have been great however this past trip in July we decided to give Canadatransfers a try. It was $50 round trip for private shuttle and we were also able to order beer online when we booked for $1 a bottle. When we arrived, after a slightly delayed flight, they were waiting with our name on the sign and when we got in the van there were 4 ice cold beers in the cooler waiting for us. I was very pleased and would use them again.
We use USA from airport to the hotel but if it's just us , usually cab it back to the airport. It's about the same price and we can leave when we are ready instead of a set pick up time. Hope this helps Frank
Just booked USA Transfers for 10 of us over Halloween.. 10 people, $70 round trip, thats $14 a couple round trip, thats a hell of a deal..cant wait!!
We've used USA Transfers on the recommendation of friends right from our first trip. Of course back then we just took the shuttle from the airport to the resort and hopped the bus back from the airline. Cause really getting to the resort to start the vacation and party started is at the top of everyone's list. And the ride back to the airport well really does it matter to you if you take the long ride back at the end of your vacation, thinking nope. Well we use them going both to and from now. Well worth the money think we've only had one driver that wasn't that personable but have thought about it and it could possibly be that he only spoke Spanish and not much English. But other than the few words to order a couple of beers and please and thank you my Spanish certainly lacks. But other than that every other driver has been personable but all have been professional and have got us to the resort within 25-30 minutes of landing. Have heard others around the pool mention some of the other firms but seeing as we've always been treated good by USA Transfers and have found them to be professional and courteous guess that's why we've stuck with them. So I can't offer any other opinions on the other firms other than to say the ones that have used them seem to have been happy with them. The other thing that's nice about them is this when we book for us it's just us in the van it's not like we're waiting for the van to fill with other travellers although if we had others on the same flight and they wanted to share it wouldn't bother us in the least.
Also, if you use USA, you can tell the driver that you want to go the fast way. If they take you down the hotel strip, it can take over 30 minutes to an hour. If you tell them you want to get there the fastest way, then I have gotten there in about 15 minutes (once we left the air port).
Best Day We have used best day as well but have done the shuttle. How much is the private transfer? I'm open to using someone new if that means not stopping at other hotels.
Best Day, the biggest shared transfers company in Cancun, recently increased their prices to such an extent that it is now only marginally more expensive to book a private transfer with USA Transfers for 2 people. USA will actually work out cheaper if there are more than 2 of you, and of course you have the benefit of private over shared. Best Day's current price for a shared return transfer between a hotel in the Cancun Hotel Zone and the Airport is now $26 per person with a minimum booking of 2 people. This makes the total $52 (for 2 persons) and is only $3 less than booking a private transfer with USA Transfers at $55 for up to 3 people. If you book with USA for more than 2 people then the price differential is huge. With the shared transfer it would cost you $104 for 4 people with Best Day, vs $60 for up to 7 people with USA Transfers. For 10 people with USA you'd pay $70, with Best Day you'd pay $260! I used to recommend Best Day when their price was $17pp for couples who wanted to save a few dollars by using shared transfers, but it really is not worth it any more.
we have nothing but good things to say about USA transfer. we wanted to share a ride with another couple who's plane arrives around the same time as ours, the only problem was that our flight left early in the morning and theirs was in the afternoon, we called USA transfer and for $100.00 they will send 3 vans to pick us up, if booked separate it would have been 55 per couple. this way it cost 50 per couple and we save 5 bucks lol.
