For us Canadian guys, on sale again at sears. I only show this as returns are easy if it doesn't fit, so you don't get stuck with them like ordering from other online sites. Jim here and I'm glad this topic came back to the top! In my humble opinion as far as men are concerned some things work and some things don't. Frankly, it depends where you are and what you look like naked. The board shorts at knee length are the best beach wear when you're active and total beach like Redondo style. At night it cools down and you got the hoodie the whole thing works and its local and that's how the beach is. Little trunks and speedos don't work It don't matter if you're the Rock For local party pool wear the trunks are fine for all guys, loose like gym shorts or sometimes the tight stretchy ones ( we usually wore them as kids ) but you have to be careful because you don't want laughed at for being a douche. You need to fit in and that's sort of my whole point. At resort, sure, nobody knows you and nobody gives a shit so they say but if your wearing a banana rig or a thong, I mean is that really you? You got to be 25 -35 and perfect to pull that look, bro. Most guys aren't that good looking. You got a spare tire or a shed for your tools you look like an loser in any language. So I'm all about the middle ground for resort. Don't wear knee pants and don't go banana hut neither. Of course that's just my opinion and your mileage may vary.
Hey, and guess what? Ours does! Let's face it, all guys look a little ridiculous naked, regardless of age and physique. You gotta love what you've got! Little trunks are hot! Board shorts are the biggest turn-off ever. Fit in? Fit in? Who wants to be part of the background? Blanco is 63, and will be wearing his man thong at TTR (nothing at Desire of course) and will NOT look like a loser! (Buns of steel!) Ah the diversity that is Temptation.....enjoy! :daisy:
Couldn't agree more . Board shorts should be banned at TTR . Its supposed to be a sexy atmosphere . Jump in the pool in your knee length pantaloon board shorts ... get wet get out and stand in front of a full length mirror soaking wet with those wet drapes on and tell me you DONT look totally freakin ridiculous !!!!
Although board shorts aren't sexy, I agree with some of the other posters, "little trunks" aren't for everyone either. I am 5'9" tall, weigh about 158 lbs. My doctor, at my annual check up, told me that the closest I was gonna get to a six pack was the liquor store...lol. Little trunks would not be flattering on me at all, as well as a lot of men.
I wish I had read the thread title "Question for the Ladies" but for the record I don't think board shorts are resort wear either and if the ladies like to see the junk all propped up and showing of proudly in a neon green banana pouch more power to ya! I'd start a Question for the Men thread "what do you like to see the ladies wear poolside" but I think I know the unanimous answer is as little as legally possible
(Mike) I'm bringing my speedos!! I agree...who cares what you wear...that's the whole fun of going to TTR...to be able to do and wear things that you can't do at other resorts. I think board shorts are very uncomfortable.
