I see alot of people pushing for the US. If it's in the US the only place it should be is in the party capital of the world. NEW ORLEANS !!!! They can handle anything and great food.
Thanks for starting this thread, fingers crossed that the desired result comes of it. Put us down for anywhere along the MX coast near Puerto Vallarta, for example Bucerias. A location with a beach that offers the opportunity for surfing would be a prime attractant. Hell, we could even take some photos that we could show to friends and family of our "surfing vacation"! $0.02 Canadian, eh
Everything in life is a trade off - we are transplants here (14+yrs) and love it. Great weather, food, nightlife, beautiful beaches & mountains, state & national parks everywhere and that irreplaceable laid-back west-coast vibe. Only drawback is the insane cost of living but we're happy to give up the big house & yard for all the bay area has to offer.
I want to ride your slip & slide!!! oh wait that's not right. haha I Kinda like TTR where it is but then again this will only be our second trip so maybe once we've caught up to the rest of you How about this, a traveling TTR, every year they take over a new location. that way we won't feel so bad only having Mexican stamps in our passports.
Our vote goes to the Pacific coast of Mexico, Puerto Vallarta to Zihuatanejo. We love Cancun and you cant beat the Caribbean water but getting there from the west coast is a bitch. It would be really nice to have an alternative for shorter trips.
