What if Original Resorts engaged Steve's forum to help decide where they would locate a new TTR? Where would suggest they put it and WHY? We would choose somewhere like Ixtapa. So much easier for us to get to a west coast destination. Nice beaches and safe area.
I'd love to see one in the US! South Florida, like the keys/Key West or Gulf down by Cape Coral!! I think it would be a huge hit. That or DR (Dominican Republic) would be nice.
Punta Cana, Dominican Republic....would be cool! Punta Cana was the very first trip I took outside of Canada. I've been to Jamaica and really didn't care for it.....but I've always wanted to go back to DR but the only thing that stops me is that there is no TTR.
US/state alcohol and beverage control prevents all inclusives with alcohol from operating. Could you imagine the safety lawsuits from serving visibly intoxicated guests and how fast their beverage license would be revoked. Why there are no all inclusive with alcohol resorts in Hawaii. We've asked, we've begged, we've pleased for OR to open another resort on the west coast of Mexico - preferably in Cabos, Mazatlan, or Puerto Vallerata. We're partial to Cabos as we absolutely loved the TTR/Desire facilities they used to have there before selling it in June 2013. And why? Direct flights to Cancun from SF is 6hrs + a 2hr time change. A direct flight to Cabos is 2.5hrs.
