We love our college football in the south. Much more than the NFL. So we talk a little smack but it's all in fun. Actually don't think LSU will be as good as the past few years. Wouldn't be surprised to see them lose. We will all be having to much fun to worry about that anyway.
We always request 5000 series, 1st or second floor. Not really concerned about the view, as the outside isn't what we are looking at in the room. ... lol
Here's the GENERAL rule of thumb I go by.. 1000 rooms... Far from everything, really quiet, but nice rooms. Majority are jacuzzi rooms. 2000 rooms... Little closer, can sometimes be difficult to locate your room in a drunken stuper if you are on the upper levels.. 3000 rooms.. Kinda loud because they wrap around Paty O's.. But very nice how close they are to Paty O's.. 4000 rooms I can't comment on because we haven't stayed there yet. Believe those are mainly premier rooms, which we'll be trying out this time. 5000 rooms... Quiet rooms, close to sexy pool, farther from Paty O's... Great views, and double showers.
