Temptations Entertainment Lacking

I can't believe everyone keeps bashing this guy...I think he has some legitimate concerns.

And nowhere did it seem to come across that he was "promoting" different resorts.

Why does everyone always get so offensive right away when someone questions something at TTR?

 

I see this is a just a huge chicken and egg debate.

I agree with so many of you--the entertainment staff can't make or break a trip. If you're a friendly person who's ready to start the party if you need to, you're going to have a great time.

However, it's the entertainment and activities that make TTR different from other resort chains. This difference is what attracts the great people to TTR. Face it, if we didn't see TTR as unique, we would be all spread out among the Rius, Iberostars, Hard Rock, etc.

So, TTR had to do something to make itself sexy and fun in the first place. Having racy entertainment and hiring entertainers that pumped up the crowd and were comfortable promoting a sexy vibe did this.

So, we repeaters might be getting bored with the games and things, but we need them in order to keep attracting fun new guests to the resort.

And we know that if the new guests have an amazing time, they will likely become repeaters. Then they'll want the entertainment staff to step it up, because they remember it being more fun their first trip....

And yes people that love TTR do take offense when the place they love is bashed. If someone was bashing my home and family here in Canada I would defend it as much as I would defend my home south of the boarder..TTR !!!

Wow some people need to chill out a bit...

Doesn't mean that none of his comments aren't true. I thought this was an open forum to discuss the good (and occasionally bad) parts of TTR without being ridiculed or called names etc.

And none of what he posted excuses him being called a liar and full of sh*t...

Now I know why I avoid politics too...people get too one-sided and aren't willing to look (or think) about multiple sides to an issue...

 

Hmmm maybe I should apologies, you know when your having one of those days and something just hits you the wrong way.
I admit I'm a hard core lover of TTR /CC and sometimes I just get tired of the complaining/slamming/blaming etc. about the place I love.. to me TTR is my second home, I miss it every day and wish I was there all the time...
So hate me because I don't like it when someone criticizes my second home.

Maybe we should get back to discussions about towels, reserving chairs, creepy single guys with cameras...all stuff we can agree on lol!

I think everyone just wants to make TTR the best place possible and there's always room for improvement...

 

I notice you forget all the positive things I said about the resort or the fact that I plan on going back. If I only hated the place and wanted to bash it, why would I want to go back?

I clearly said Temptation has a lot of positive points.

However, I think the regular Temptation people who have been there many times lose sight of the importance of the entertainment staff, pool games, etc for the newer people. If we don't get a good experience for this aspect of the resort, it will hinder their chances of returning.

I keep reiterating that the food, rooms, etc don't bring people to Temptation. This isn't to knock temptation, it is just to speak to the fact that people could go elsewhere for these things.

The main sticking point for the resort is the entertainment.

Which other resort would I be working for? There are no other resorts competing for this adult entertainment segment besides Desire. Therefore, this is a ridiculous point.

 

Unfortunately, this is yet another example of the narrow minded mentality of some people who use this board. Anyone who attempts to raise any problems at TTR are bashed, maligned and even investigated by those who have a different point of view. I have had such an experience when trying to discuss certain negative issues at the resort. I congratulate Coolcat1226 and anyone else who points out problems with the resort. First, everyone has at right to their own opinion. Second and perhaps more importantly, it may help to get a dialogue going that will make management take notice and do something about the problem.

To those narrow minded individuals, disagree and argue all you want. The bashing is ridiculous and just makes you look foolish.

Why can't we all just play nice? Isn't that the spirit of Temptation and of this forum? Too much hostility and aggression on here lately.
