Temptations Entertainment Lacking

I have been to temptations twice.

I never said I just heard about it May. You said that due to my sign up date on cancuncare.

People go to temptations without being on cancuncare. I only got on it before my second trip in May.

 

Which "holes" have you found in my story Sherlock.

You'd make a bad detective lol.

Iron Man Shape
Hello everyone,

I am new to this website. I have recently learned about temptations resort. I have read a few posts on this website about various pool games.

I am curious if you have to be in good shape to do iron man?

Also, can you do iron man in your shorts? Can you win iron man if you keep on your shorts?

I have been to temptations twice this year. I only learned about it on Orbitz at the beginning of this year.

The first time I went with my girlfriend, we only got about 3 full days at the resort. Due to my job, I only could get a couple of days off at the time. Going on vacation is more about getting the time off from work rather than the cost. The cost of the vacation isn't that much for two people to prevent me from going again in a short period of time if I can get the time off.

My first visit at temptations was a blast. The entertainment was crazy with Nathan and Sarah. We liked to pool games, drinking at the pool, etc. The games I was there for were iron woman, Mr temptations, etc. Never saw the Iron man but assumed it was the same as Iron Woman.

The trip was a blast except for the booze cruise. We booked the "booze cruise" without knowing the difference until people let me know at the resort.

The post about Iron Man was somewhat of a joke considering I know most people aren't going to be in good shape for the contest.

I really liked the resort the first time I went, so I decided that we should go back a second time when we had more time available.

It turned out that we had time at the end of May, where we got 6 total days including flight days (4 1/2 days on the resort).

The entertainment seemed lacking the second time. The crowd wasn't hyped up at all.

The best part was the Boobs Cruise we had booked this time around. It was hyped and the entertainment was cool.


I have stated that I want to go back to temptations for a third time. I think the resort is still pretty cool but I would like the entertainment fixed. Most resorts in Cancun totally suck because they are very boring. The people are temptations are much cooler than most other places. Even the guys were quite respectful towards my gf, with only one guy getting a little out of line on each trip.

If you don't give a shit about the entertainment, thats your opinion. I am allowed to have an opinion as well that the entertainment is important.

The reason I go to temptations is the pool parties, games, entertainment, people, etc. So my question about them improving the entertainment remains valid. Since the food, beaches, etc isn't a real highlight, I focus on the entertainment.

I don't care to go to other resorts because most of them suck due to being boring as hell.

Therefore, I will be going back to temptations a third time.

 

Hello to the CoolCat. Don't try to make your point by being all negative. That's not Cool Cat style! Now it getting personal and stuff.

I'd just like to chime in to say we spend most of our time trying to stay out of the various competitions and things at Temptation. I'd rather keep my suit on! But we do enjoy watching the show and they are pretty entertaining.

Some resorts, they sort of do a water exercise thing maybe and a while later maybe a swim under water contest or beer drinking contest. Maybe some darts. Yawn, Low energy. Some don't really have entertainment. Maybe a V-Ball Net. Really kind of laid back. Actually pretty boring. I can name Resort names if needed.

At Temptation, (I didn't realize there was an S at the end) even if its European and Canadian tourists (ha ha that's supposed to be a joke) the staff and entertainment always seems pretty top notch to me regardless.

We sort of like the Music Vibe to pick up a bit. It seems to have lost some spunk over the years. Don't know what to attribute that to. But the entertainment, its always been as good or better than other places we go.

 

Never got to do iron man because that was the same day as the Boobs Cruise.

Might try it during my third visit visit lol

 

We couldn't agree more with everything you said. We both never get involved in the games and most of the time don't even watch them. Mostly because we're having a blast partying with all the people we met. We have been to lots of other resorts with better food and better beaches but it's the sexy adult environment and the great party every night at Paty O's that we keep coming back to TTR for. We don't specifically go on vacation to eat great food...we go for the sun and fun. Good food is a bonus but we're not fussy and always find something to eat. To be honest, we have never thought the food to be too bad at all. Anyone ever been to Cuba??? The food there is horrible, even at 5* resorts but people love Varadero and go back year after year.
