Our first trip was with another couple and two of their single friends. Initially, it was one of their ideas to book TTR, and I said no after visiting the Temptation website and Tripadvisor. Then, researching other things about Cancun I found Cancuncare and realised how great the place is, it just doesn't always come across that way from their own promotion online. I persuaded the rest of our group that it was a good idea. Unfortunately nobody else liked the resort, and I think they had a fairly bad trip. Only me and the husband have ever returned. For the first few hours on our first day we didn't see or recognise anyone from CCC, so after the long flight we decided to just head to bed around 9pm! Luckily, we got hungry and ventured out to Paty O for a burger later in the night, and I got spotted by some folks from the forum. That was it then, sleep out the window we partied with everyone into the next day.
LOL well yes I knew that before going the first time because I had gotten on this site and checked things out....and your absolutely correct in saying they are some of the coolest most respectful people we could have ever met.
THIS!!! This is what's exciting to me! We live in a very small, conservative town. Being a runner and fitness instructor I wear short running shorts and I get dirty or judging looks when I'm seen in town. Honestly, I don't care so whatever! I'm excited about getting to dress sexy or even slutty for my husband. I know that I any looks I get won't be hateful or damning.
The looks will be quite the opposite of hateful. And my Mom had a saying, Man made the city, God made the country and the Devil made the small town! Pretty accurate really. You have to wonder what kind of freaks those judgemental people become once they are behind closed doors.
Just a heads up the sexy comes home with you too! Even more then before...I love dressing up for my husband. I've worn more dresses and shorter shorts then ever before all thanks to TTR
Blondie has the same affliction and I love it. And. she keeps telling all of our friends about TTR trying to recruit newbies but no one is biting yet. Well, we have one possibility. Most of our friends are not conservative people but it's amazing how uncomfortable people can get when confronted by the concept of nudity and sexuality. Good ol' up-tight-white 'Muricans that have been taught to fear the wrath of god. Oh shit, I just fell off of my soap box. Just in time too. you don't want me to get started.
LOL it can be Canadians too! Our friends can't wait to hear our stories but invite them and they scurry in all directions It's kinda funny watching them try to find reasons they couldn't possibly go! The chickens don't know what they are missing!
Wife and I went for our 1 yr anniv and had a blast. She was afraid of whole "swinger..topless" issue but after a few drinks and meeting people from here she was topless doing body shots. Once you find a group of people there...you lose all your fear and it really becomes a lot fun.
Our concern was not knowing anyone when we booked. Our first trip was to be with another couple but as they read more about TTR, they backed out. We know we wanted to go. We then found Cancun Care and made friends with those going the same week. While checking in and wearing our orange bracelets, the person behind us commented on being CCC members. We turned around and it was Steve and Janet, how awesome was that. After that we met other CCC members and knew we were hooked. Proud to say we are regulars with the June Junkies!! Tom & Lorie
