Amy and I have always wanted to take the Ultramar over to Isla Mujeres and rent a golf cart for a day. We want to go bar hoping, shopping, and make a full circle of the island including a stop at Playa Norte to checkout the infamous beach. We are looking for another couple to join us on our self guided, day long, shit show/tour. If you are interested, let us know. We are familiar with the area, and all of the logistics, just have never spent the time to do it.
Isla Mujeres is a small island just due North of the tip of the Hotel Zone. This is where the lunch stop is located on Steve's Boobs Cruise. It used to be you got about an hour or so to shop on the island during the cruise, but most people voted to just keep partying instead. An hour didn't really allow for much anyhow, and who wants to do anything other than party on the Boobs Cruise all day anyways?! Anyhow, we would walk from Temptation about a half mile to the Ultramar docks in the morning, and take the ferry to the island. Once there we would split the cost of a golf cart, and I will appoint myself the impromptu tour guide. We will circle the entire island, stopping to shop, drink tequila, and hangout at Playa Notre. Which is a very well known, shallow, warm, sandy beach. If I remember correctly the ferry is about $30-35 round trip per person, plus the golf cart rental, and spending money.
We're in. Sounds like it will be a blast. Looking forward to going with someone that can guide and get us back.LOL. Most of the time I'm doing the driving so to have someone else lead the way is great.

I said nothing about getting us home! Lol, if we get too shitty to make the last ferry back we can always bribe a fisherman to drop us off right at Temptation's beach I suppose. Assuming we can find it that is.
