Agree with Chris and April, but you will actually be planning your second trip after spend your first day at TTR.
You should expect to have fun and to meet a lot of fun and friendly people. The first time we went in 2010, we didn't know about CancunCare and didn't know a soul going in. By the time we left, we'd made a bunch of new friends and continue to go the same time every year because of them. I'd find other folks on CCC who will be there when you are and start making friends ahead of time. For lingerie party, boxers are fine. I'd go with silk.

Do your best to show some restraint and pace yourself on day one. Seriously The first full morning there on our first visit felt like an invading army of grizzly bears with poor hygiene were fighting in my head. It wasted a few precious sexy-pool-fun-time hours to work my way to almost normal. After that, pacing on day one made the whole trip better
I would advise to make sure to pace yourself on ALL days, but especially day 1. A couple years ago on our 3rd visit and on our 2nd full day there (so it's not like I wasn't experienced), I got roped into playing in the beer pong tournament but Sara (the former hostess) was my partner. Her only rule? I had to drink all the beer, and that was on top of the booze already in me. Unfortunately, we kept winning but only like 10-8 or 10-9 so I was drinking LOTS of beer and in a very short time. Well after the thrill of victory came the agony of defeat as I unloaded most of what I'd just drank on the deck. I was later escorted to my room by security where I remained until the next morning when I start all over again but with moderation. That was a lesson definitely learned.
We were lucky ... and like you signed up for cancuncare prior to arrival. It what you make of it. We decided to participate in the theme nights and connected with those going during our time frame. ALL I can say is OMG had so much fun 1st night there (as we got in at 4pm) walked into a group of us women wearing only men's dress shirts and high heel. Also easy to identify the group! Had a blast.. Then next year.. because yes your want to book again. First night in we had this couple grab us from cancuncare and introduce us to about 20 people... which most went on the Boobs Cruise the next day with. Awesome time had by all... LOL
