Sept 5-13th LOL Oh and yes for May and probable going to try Jan again 10-17, just can't do once a year anymore.
Funny, I was just thinking about this. I try to stay in reasonable shape all year, but then tend to amp it up beyond my natural ability in the month before a beach vacation. Two years ago in the week before departing for TTR, I sustained a massive groin pull (no, the bad kind) convinced that "one more rep" on the leg press would make a big difference at the beach. In the days to come, EVERYTHING between my abdomen and thighs turned a hideous shade of purple and I could only take very small steps. The real challenge came when we tried to cross the street from Temptation to the convenience store on the other side. Pedestrians seem to be legitimate targets in Mexico, so stealth and timing are critical. With several hours of drinking behind me, the injury was forgotten and I was now a world class track athlete. Spotting an opening we lunged into the street, upon which I was immediately reminded of my physical limitation, fell to the ground in agony and accepted my fate from the oncoming delivery van. But Shauna would have none of it and was able to stop (or I guess sort of divert) traffic around me and haul my sorry ass onto the median in the middle of the road. It was somewhere around then that we realized there's a set of traffic lights fifteen steps away - well, how about that? So I guess the short answer to your question is that I'll be trying not to hurt myself over the next month (but most likely will anyways). See you in September!
Wow Steve that is terrible and I agree it is open season crossing the road in front of TTR. I have been working out for years but I have considered the possibility that starting crossfit will put me in great shape or in a shoulder sling! We hope to be at TTR in time to welcome ya'll back from Boobs Cruise on 15th. We will for sure be there to party with ya'll Monday night. Whichever of us recognizes the other first needs to speak up.
It's a plan! Good luck with the crossfit - never tried it, but I know a few fanatics that swear by it!
I start eating clean and increase my cardio. I also try to cut out alcohol, but that's very hard. My body is a little shocked the first day at Temptation. I also don't dress at home as I do at Temptation. Thongs aren't allowed at my neighborhood swimming pool
i started eating worse, reducing cardio, and increasing my alcohol intake.... building momentum and tolerance towards the week at TTR..... lol:ranting1::ranting1::aktion047::icon_evil::daveandmo::lighting1::mnm::mnm::lotsofmichaelfs::mnm::ranting1::ranting1:
