This should spark some conversation! We visitied Desire for our honeymoon 8yrs ago and havnt had a "fun" vacation since! Before we went to Desire, I joined a Yahoo group, made friends, (much like Im doing now on here), and prepared with all the themes, and lingerie neccesary. ( I think I even won that lingerie contest...we can't remember - jim was busy getting a lap dance somewhere in a corner I think! LOL!) Can you make some comparisons for us? I do remember the staff was great and really interacted with our group especially - def made a difference. Of course, we were naked all the time, and the fun never ended. I'm sure we will have JUST AS MUCH fun - if not more- at TTR! :daveandmo:
Desire is rated X. Sensual. Public sex and nudity are allowed. Temptation is rated R. Like spring break for party-hardy adults. Toplessness is allowed.

Donald - do you disagree with anything I said? Both are awesome for different reasons - both have their pluses and minuses. If you've only been to Desire and never been to Temptation - you might be surprised at Temptation. There is a reason why its less than half the cost of Desire. Primarily location, entertainment, food & beverage quality.
Food and booze isn't mediocre ( maybe not as good as Desire, but has never been bad). Last April there was a larger selection of top shelf booze available to us peasants. The chair issue has gotten a lot better since the addition of the premier deck adding a bunch of chairs. There is a small hot tub available for every one. every thing else ( about TTR ) was pretty accurate.
I'll take that as my compare/contrast was pretty spot on. :icon_lol: A 6 person hot tub for 380 rooms is a far cry from a Desire hot-tub. Desire serves top-shelf, Temptations top shelf is "call" alcohol. Desire has Chivas, Grey Goose, Don Julio, Bombay. Best you can get at Temptation is Absolut or Crown Royal, and that's only if you are a Premier member. If not Premier its Smirnoff, Sky, El Jimador, Kentucky Gentlemen, or Beefeater. Desire you can reserve a beach bed or chairs every day and they have a chair butler to get you a seat. But yes, the Premier deck has helped immensely as it added another 30+ seats at Temptation. I would not call the food at Desire "excellent" either, it's no Michelin star restaurant but much better than Temptation. Much easier to feed and cook to order for 88-110 rooms than it is to feed 380 rooms. We still think the food at Temptation Cabos was the best we've had out of all the resorts. Quality, Presentation, Variety was all top notch there.
