I don't think we had the standard first time arrival at TTR last year, lol. With the tropical storm we flew in on, we were just glad the plane landed safely. Then the transfer ride over was a whole new level of scary, not really possible to get excited when you are fearing for your life, not able to see more than one car ahead of you and driver is still driving like it's typical sunny Mexico! Then at the resort it was obvious no one would be at the pool so we did get to go to our room and unpack and then pack a pool bag (just in case) and then head out to find where all the cool kids were enjoying some indoor activities. When we finally found everyone playing beer pong in nice shoes it was a wild sight for sure! I looked at Matt and said if we're going to drink the koolaid just make sure mine's a double! I think it took all of 30 seconds for you all to convince us we were overdressed, then the assisted strip that followed was just the icing on the cake. I'm not sure what moment I could call my favorite feeling, but I will say that the whole arrival experience was forever etched in my mind!

 

wait, there are red lights in the rooms? Lol

 

We would argue that your washing machine is better than any of our appliances

 

Well we do need a photo to help us pass the day. I would be fine with one of any of the above mentioned appliances.

Since on the last page we were talking about Hannsh leaving her paddle home ( which I am all for) here is a pic of my revenge. I really gave it my all. She tried to say it didn't hurt but the hand print lasted several days

Kyle, your revenge probably hurt your hand more than my ass, lol! This was post Boobs Cruise, I was feeling NO pain! But yes, I went home (3 days later!) with hand print shaped bruise to remember you by!

 

For us it’s definitely knowing we’re escaping from the life we live back home to a place where great friends and new memories will be had by all. I get so excited when the cab door opens at the resort and I put my foot on the ground at TTR… paradise!

 

I understand. There is a build up leaving the airport. Then it gets stronger when we hit the hotel zone. Then the extreme excitement hits as we turn into the resort parking lot and see the front doors!
